Wish I had gone to Dr. Griffiths first!

Went to different doc to address chronic sinusitis and difficulty with breathing. I was either constantly suffering from sinus infections and/or would wake up several times a night unable to breathe. I couldn’t lay flat to sleep. I had to prop myself up on several pillows and sleep in an almost upright position. If I didn’t, I undoubtedly awoke several times per night struggling to breathe and the following morning, I’d wake up absolutely exhausted with a headache. I could barely function and it interfered with all aspects of my life day in and day out. I was miserable!

Anyway, first doc corrected deviated septum (though not completely) and shrunk my turbinates to correct the chronic sinus issues and breathing difficulty. Six months post and I still had sinus infections and difficulty breathing. Went back to him and he recommended I see a neurologist… (? !) I didn’t waste my time because I knew the issue was the structure of my nose and not my brain! I went back to doc still complaining about inability to breath etc and he recommended another procedure for the inside of my nose. Again, I knew that was not the solution.

I went to Dr. Griffiths for a second opinion and he diagnosed the issue in about 60 seconds. I knew immediately that he was right. My breathing has improved about 75%. I’m hoping my nose is still swollen (surgery was less than two months ago) and that my breathing will continue to improve. Even if it doesn’t, it’s already a huge improvement! Wish I had gone to him first. I should also mention his facility and staff are top notch. Fantastic experience all the way around.

Incredibly nice doctor. I heard he was amazing, however, I have gone back 7 times for the same issue and the last few visits I waited over 45-60 minutes. On the last visit, I finally left after waiting 45 minutes and asked for a phone call. It has been a week and I have not gotten one. Sadly, I can not recommend this doctor. The icing on the cake is the office quoted me $8,500 and I was sent a bill for $35,000!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Griffiths. He removed a large tumor from my neck with no pain and perfect results, I was afraid he would interfere with some veins but no such thing, you cannot even see the scar. Dr Griffiths is a brilliant surgeon

Dr. Griffiths is known nation and worldwide. He assisted in two of my brain surgeries. I have been a patient a long time. When I tried to see a closer ENT to my house, I went through 5, they did not help me. In urgent situations, someone in the office can see me. The staff is professional and efficient when I call. Dr. Griffiths is very delicate when he has to go up the nose. Never does unnecessary procedures and has vast knowledge that helped me when I had gigival overgrowth from medication. Super doctor!

Dr. Griffiths was a top-notch surgeon, always professional, with great bedside manner and sense of humor.

He performed brain surgery on me this past March with Dr. Sivakumar also from St. John's.

Can't recommend him enough, he's a pioneer and leader in the field of endoscopic surgery. If he's working on you, you know you're in good hands. All the staff were great as well.

Dr. Griffiths is such an exceptional ENT. My son has seen 3 specialists in our area and none of them can do an endoscopic procedure. We are very grateful that we found him! Highly recommended!

THANK G/D FOR DR. GRIFFITHS! My 10-year old son broke his nose in a baseball accident, and he was very frightened and anxious about the whole thing (as was I!). From the moment we stepped into Dr. Griffith's office, my kiddo felt totally comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Griffith's spent a lot of time with us, chatting and making my kid (and myself) comfortable, explaining what the next steps would be. He was able to immediatley schedule an appointment for surgery. The morning of the procedure was a breeze thanks to Dr. Griffith's incredibly nurturing and warm staff (thank you Brian!). Anesthesiologist Dr. Greg Wright was an angel. He answered all questions and kept my kid so calm and soothed. Using Dr. Griffith's in-house OR made all the difference too. No chaotic hospitals with rules about parents-waiting rooms. I was able to be with my kid even until he was asleep from gas/anesthesia, so there was literally NO trauma. They didn't insert the IV until AFTER he was sedated. These little things make a HUGE difference when dealing with a frightened 10-year old. All of the nurses and staff were so patient and generous of their time - when my kid woke up groggy and nauseous, he was checked on a dozen times and treated accordingly. There was no rushing us out because they "needed the bed". We received follow up / check-in calls day of, and Dr. G removed the cast 48 hours later. Needless to say, his broken/crooked nose is now back to it's perfectly straight self. I can't thank the team at Dr. Griffith's office enough for such incredible care during a very scary time. THANK YOU!

Dr. Griffiths and the staff at P. N. I.are an amazing group of people.
I have been a long time patient and his support and care has exceeded any medical level I have experienced. Dr. Griffiths is a scientist, and is always looking for better ways to treat the impossible. I was fortunate and blessed to have found him and his staff. Its miraculous what science and medicine can do when blended together. In Short: Dr. G is a Rock Star among doctors, Olivia is the ever present and caring Angel and Cecily is the Sunshine in the front office. You could not find a better, more thorough, caring, and skilled medical group.

Thank you all.

This man really is incredible! By far the best doctor I’ve ever encountered and I’ve seen my fair share of them. He listens and gets right in there with his examination. He’s highly intelligent, caring and has a great sense of humor. You’ll be in great hands with him and his team!

Dr. Griffiths was the only specialist out of 7 specialists that helped me locate a cranial CSF leak that I was sure I had for 6 months or more. I was jaded and ready to fight for my care, I have researched CSF leaks for 6 months, I know I question things and that has to be a surgeons nightmare patient. He never made me feel like I had to fight, he was understanding, sympathetic, and scheduled testing and surgery so quickly that it was incredible. After every scan and fluid test saying that I do not have a CSF leak including 2 brain MRI's, 1 c-spine MRI, 1 MRA, 2 CT scans, 3 EKG's, 2 nuclear stress tests and 2 negative Beta 2 transferin tests, Dr. Griffiths looked at my scans and determined that I probably did have a leak and ordered a pledget cisternogram that confirmed that I did have a cranial leak. He knew where it was and patched it up and found extensive sinus disease that 2 other ENT's didn't find and proceeded to open every sinus and clean it out and patched any suspicious places I could be leaking from now or in the future. He also sedated me for my post op procedure. His entire office cared about my progress. He's the only doctor that believed me and didn't make me feel crazy or fight for my care. He fixed me and gave me back the quality of my life as a mom, and wife. I was broken when I first saw him and I left his office whole again. We traveled 5 hours to see him and it was the best decision we ever made. Thank you Dr. Griffiths.

Dr. Griffiths is unbelievable! He is so generous with his time. He walks you through the entire process. He is honest and works with the highest level of integrity. The brain surgery he did with Dr. Kelly was not easy as the tumor had wrapped around my carotid artery and was pushing into my brain. I’m so grateful for everything the surgery team did for me. He has such a great sense of humor on top of it all which is extremely rare. #MyHero

Dr. Kelly and Dr. Griffiths receive my highest possible recommendation. They removed a tumor on top of my pituitary gland that was resting against my optical nerve. They flawlessly removed the entire tumor utilizing a minimally invasive technique. 5 out of 5 stars.

I went to see Dr. Griffiths yesterday for the first time via a recommendation of my Internist. I had been struggling with a chronic ear infection that spread to my mastoid and had been poorly treated by my current ENT in Santa Monica. Dr. Griffiths couldn't have been more wonderful! He immediately saw my MRI, my CT scan, and grasped the situation. I felt immediately like I was finally in "good, competent, hands"! He cleaned out the ear and suctioned out the fluid, very painful and frightening! He kept saying comforting things.to calm me. He completely changed the treatment. I was put on strong anti-biotics and told to stop keeping the ear wet with drops. He also wanted to see me every other day until this resolves. I couldn't have been more pleased and relieved to have been sent to his office. I highly recommend Dr. Griffiths! LONG wait, but well worth it. You get the best when you have to wait!
