3I come here often on Saturdays when I drive to the area to jog on the trails in the area. The staff here are nice, the coolers have a nice selection of drinks, and the bathrooms are clean, making it a great place to stop during a run. Because of the wide lanes, it is also an easy place to get gas.
My husband went in to this store at 2: 45 in the morning to buy a pack of cigarettes. He is disabled and obviously of age with the grey in his beard. He is almost 50 yrs old. The guy carded him and expected him to hop on one leg (he is an amputee) back out to our truck to get his ID and hop on one leg to bring his ID back in. My husband said he would just have his wife come back in with both our ID's and the guy told him he wouldn't be able to sell us cigarettes then if my husband didn't come back in himself. I understand the importance of not selling to minors but seriously, have you ever met a minor with a grey beard and loosing his hair? There is definitely a line between protecting yourself and business from the repercussions of selling to a minor and just being realistic and quite frankly rude.
I couldn't use my card at the pump and I had go back in twice to correct the problem. Wow and its only 550am. Good day ahead im sure
