I haven't been there in almost 15 years, but way back then it was a delicious place to eat but it is sad to see many bad reviews this days, I was planning to take my daughter to Shiba but after reading so many bad reviews I'm not sure

I love this place, but 25% of the time their phone doesn’t work. Sometime is it will ring and it’s attached to a fax machine, other times it will ring and ring and ring and then you’ll get a message that says the mailbox is full. UPGRADE YOUR PHONE!

Always so nice and good food, I'd reccomend them cooking the batter on the tempura at a higher temp vit otherwise LOVE the place

Proceed with caution if you decide to get sushi at Chiba. My husband and were hungry and decided to give this place a try. Worst decision ever! We ordered a spicy tuna roll and a salmon hand roll. The filling in one of the rolls was definitely not salmon, it looked more like blended cockroaches. We each tried a piece and it is by far the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. You are better off buying it pre made at a grocery store.

I am feeling scammed by this place.
I've order a chicken Katso and had no Katso sauce so I call and was told that they no longer serve the chicken Katso with Katso sauce.
Why they are still calling chicken Katso?

Might as well buy sushi from walmart. Room temperature fish, gyoza tasted the way a kitchen rag would smell, sushi wasnt rolled tight enough so everything would fall out. Like the mcdonalds of sushi. Whoever said this place is good hasnt ever payed for good quality sushi.

I've tried multiple things, curry has no flavor, teriyaki as well the chicken was just not appealing. Sushi are just sub-par. I love japanese food but its hard to love this place

Ordered Chicken katsy but they don't have sauce for it. Males no sense to have it and no sauce to go with it.

Great food, low prices, generous portions. I've gone to Chiba at least once a week for two years, and it has consistently been great. I cannot recommend Chiba enough.

This spot knows how to take care of their clients. Consistently with a nice approach. The food is affordably priced, always delightful and clean.

Very poor phone service. Almost impossible to order. The girl on the phone will waste your time.

Food is super good, staff was very friendly and inside the restaurant is very nice, though they did forget my sake in the order, luckly I had a spare bottle at home.

The best sushi I've ever had! Chiba has my favorite roll as well, the Corona Roll (ironic only now after COVID-19). Small and intimate restaurant. I will keep coming back!
