I ordered food to go for Christmas Eve lunch. I noticed the two helpers in front were not wearing masks. Customers coming in were not wearing masks. About 95% we’re not wearing masks. Very scary experience since Covid 19 cases are going up.

Came on a Sunday for late lunch. My partner and I love this place. We waited about 20 mins to be seated because it is a small space and it was pretty busy.

We ordered:
- Pork Sinigang
- Beef Short Rib Sinigang
- Sizzling Pork Sisig
- Longanisa Silog
- 2 orders of Rice

This was a lot of food for 2 people. But we like to bring some leftovers home and warm it up later at night for dinner. They provide nice and sturdy containers for soup.

One thing that I love about this restaurant is how they serve the food. They present the sinigang in a big bowl with a ladle. They also provide small bowls to pour the soup and to share the soup also.

Naturally the food is always so good and the servers are all around pleasant. They checkin on you every once in a while to see if everything is okay.

I highly recommend this place for perhaps a lunch date or just lunch with friends. Most of the items are served in sharing bowls and plates. It’s a great atmosphere. There is also lots of parking in the lot.

I've been to Chibog many, many times, but haven't gotten around to reviewing yet! So here goes! Being Filipina myself, I come here to get some Filipino food that reminds me of my mama's home cookin', and also indulge in some of the more comforting dishes that I wouldn't have too often growing up. (The fam had high cholesterol and high blood pressure, yknow how that goes.)

Anyways, the foods I've gotten and enjoyed so far:

- Classic Kare-Kare (5/5, thicc peanut butter oxtail stew) have it with the bagoong, trust. It's a must.
- Combo Sisig (5/5, best sizzlin in person) so flavorful. Love the mix cause you get some crispy bits too.
- Silog plates: Lechon Kawali, Tocino
- Sinigang (4/5, was a bit too sour for me? Everyone has diff preferences though)
- Bangus Sisig (4/5, haven't had this anywhere else so thought it was unique, but I would stick with the meaty version if you eat meat. Nice to have as an option though. I would prefer to eat the Bangus in the silog.)

Servings are generous so depending on your appetite, you'll likely have leftovers for days!

The folks there are always friendly too, and haven't had to wait in the times we have gone. At most we have had to wait 15-20 mins. Decent sized spot, but it can be tricky to find at first. Its a no frills restaurant, but overall clean and somewhat spacious.

This place is delicious! My Filipina friend ordered from here for us and everything was super tasty, huge portions too. Service was pretty fast, hours were also more flexible than a couple other places so we were able to accommodate some hungry kids and adults for an early dinner. Price is pretty par for Asian food in the Bay Area. Hoping we get takeout here again soon!

Order:
Pancit Palabok (shrimp sauce on thin rice noodles, with a ground pork / crispy topping and hard boiled egg) - get this, this was super tasty.
BBQ chicken - tender and flavorful!
Fried Lumpia - really big spring rolls! Really good.

What I like about this place is that their service is always good and picking up togo orders always goes smoothly for me. In fact, I would say that taking things for carry out would be my preferred way of consuming their foods.

I think their crispy pata is amazing and their sisig is good. Their kare-kare (my favorite dish in general) and their tocino is just ok.

Everything. Hits. The. Spot. I can’t resist good longanisa once I get hooked. Too often I am alerted with and immediate and impertinent notice from my stomach: “I WANT CHIBOG! ”

It’s these joyous and demanding words that ripple throughout my text messages, because what’s good food without a friend who can share in your happy food dances and taste-bud-joy?

As a Filipina from the bay, who was introduced to this special spot by another food loving Bay Area Filipina- Chibog is certifiably delicious.

The service is good and worth the wait for well made food. The staff is super friendly, they made us feel welcomed and checked in on us. I couldn’t stop eating all the Shanghai lumpia, the Bangus sisig was addicting, and the Pork binagoongan is a new dish I will keep ordering. And of course I got the yummy halo halo!

I'm Filipino and this is hands down my favorite Filipino resto in SF/Daly City. Has never disappointed! Always get their Crispy Pata, Tortang Talong, and various Silogs. Their Palabok and Bulalo are fantastic too.

Total neighborhood gem, ordered the chicken tocino, pork sisig, and lechon kawali. Generous food portions for the family. Feels like eating a home cooked meal, just without the stress and cleanup afterwards. The lechon Kawali is crispy and well seasoned, the pork sisig came in sizzling hot and good! Loved it!

When in Daly City, one must find good Filipino food. That should be an axiom for Bay area living.

So I found myself at this spot. I was quite thrilled with the experience. Lots of places serve mom and pop Filipino food, but this place was legit.

I had to go with the lechon, mostly because it had been a long time. But also it wasn't too fatty. Yeah there was some fat. It's lechon after all. But they served it with eggs and the sauce and all the fixin's. What I really wanted was Sisig, but they didn't have it as a lunch plate. Gives me excuse to come back.

Anyway, the lechon comes out hot and crispy, in nice bite size pieces. For me the eggs were a little overcooked as I like them medium to run on the rice. But I didn't specify that, so that's my bad. I asked for some banana sauce, and thoroughly enjoyed.

They also had calamansi which is sometimes hard to get. That was an added bonus for my perspective. They had what I wanted, and what a good Filipino restaurant should have.

Kudos. I'll go again. BTW there was enough for take home. Basically I got two meals from it. I'm down with that.

Service is fast. Taste? Im expecting better for the price. Halohalo 9.00? Bulalo 22.00.ribs 18.00.sisig 18.00. Thats why filipino restaurants dont make it in the Us. Profit before quality.

We went there for Sunday late lunch and there was a wait to be seated. But boy oh boy! This place was worth the wait! The best lumpia I have ever had! Everything else was delicious and the portions were generous as well!

About eight simple tables, none outside. Seems like it had a lot of take out orders.
No beer or wine. Only has one item. Will reserve judgment but portions was good sized.
Finding driveway to restaurant tricky and sudden. Way out not much better.

Wow! Best Philippine food I ever had in my life. You know a restaurant is good when you only see Philippine people eating there. Come eat here and be happy

We were on quarantine due to covid19. We order karekare (beef is hard and dry tasted nasty) and bulalo. This restaurant has contract with doordash for delivery. DD driver picked up my ordered sealed and with receipts. When i opened my order i got 2 karekare instead. We called the restaurant and explained the situation. They agreed to refund my CC. Waited 2 days nothing was done. Called them and now their saying they will not refund and to get the refund from doordash.

Not DD DRIVER fault that they put wrong order. Very unprofessional manager running this business. Rude when we were talking over the phone.

Will never order from this nasty place.

Read good reviews and tried the pork sisig and bistek for takeout. Pretty easy and a cool 10 minute wait. My son and I enjoyed it!

The price you pay is worth the amount of food served.
Good customer service was provided by this restaurant, and that counts if you want to get an excellent rating. And by the way,
the food is delicious too. My daughter couldn't wait to go back there for their silogs.

Great Filipino food at a reasonable price. We ordered sizzling sisig, pancit palabok and garlic rice. The sisig dish was a little drier than I like but very tasty. Came here a little after they opened and it wasn’t too busy. Plenty of parking in this area
