Chicago Fire Grill

Chicago Fire Grill has amazing food and excellent service. For $10 I got a super juicy burger, crispy thin cut fries and what the owner called a 'local' beer. Local to the north east that is, cause he was pouring the delicious Bells Two Hearted. This place seemed busy, but the line was moving so fast that I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to order, and it took less than 10 minutes to get my food. I'll definitely be back again for one of their hot dogs or their tri-tip sandwich.

Burgers made to order… deliciously made! Topped with hand cut fries and +$2 draft beer. Definitely hit the spot! So glad we found it as it was our first time in this area. We will be back!

George is a character. Stopped in here for the first time. Really good Italian beef and sausage, hot peppers add that delicious kick you crave. I’ll definitely be coming back. With the $2 beer add on you can’t go wrong

First impressions where very positive. Kinda of a dive out of the way joint look and feel in a suburban neighborhood. Great greetings from what I deduce was the owner, a Cubs Fan, and nicely priced simple menu.
The presentation was great, the fries where OK, and the burger looked great, but I was expecting something tastier. I guess my burger was overcooked so the flavors where askew. I guess I should’nt gripe when you get a burger, fries and a beer for $10.
I will try it again, the hotdogs look interesting, maybe I will improve my rating there.

My wife and I had the Greek Burger with garlic fries and Da Beef and Sausage with feta fries as well as the Lemon Chicken soup. We have soup and Lemon Chicken salad left over for snacking later.

All of it was good! The soup was different but very tasty! Lamb burger was cooked perfectly and the beef and sausage had a lightly seasoned flavor that was paired with some sweet peppers.
A very pleasant find (my wife is awesome).
Definitely will be back again the next time we're down this way!

Best lamb burger I’ve ever tried! If you haven’t tried this place yet, you have to give it a try. Friends and family always recommended this place to us and we finally got to try it! My wife had the Chicago beef sandwich and I had the lamb burger, both were amazing! Super delicious! Highly recommend you guys to come try it out!

Originally thought I would get a burger to go but couldn't help but stay. Felt like family from the time you walk in. Skip the ketchup.you won't need it.

Why go anywhere and get overcharged for a burger? ! For half the price of a decent burger ($10) elsewhere, Chicago fire grill gets you an awesome 1/2lb cheeseburger, great fresh cut fries, and a local draft beer…and to top it; great people work there.

I was born and raised in Chicago. This is not just an outstanding restaurant of Chicago style food. It is an outstanding restaurant. They cook the pita bread in fragment extra virgin olive oil. Serve fresh crisp french fries. Serve wonderfully cooked meats. Try it and you will be back soon.

After being born and raised in Chicago and living in San Diego fro more than a decade I went to this place as a recommendation from my coworker. This is the best I’ve had since home. Definitely recommend Da Beef and Da Chicago Dog! You won’t be disappointed.

One of my fave places to eat in all of LA Jolla, and one of the best burgers to. I can not recommend the Greek Town burger enough. The owner is a super friendly and caring guy you are in good hands with them.

I’ve been here before, the food is great! However, I walked in at 6pm and they said they were closed. Website said they closed at 9pm. I was disappointed, there was no reasoning given either and people were still being served.: (

The rating is due to great food and the staff member or owner is the friendliest soul I’ve ever met in a restaurant. I chose the bratwurst and it didn’t disappoint, and I happened to see a framed photo of bill Murray. Hope he tried this place out, but I mean him being from Chicago.it’s makes sense!

Highly recommended. I live in another city, so I’ve never heard about Chicago fire grill. I was passing by and decided to stop for lunch. And it was very very tasty and good lemon chicken salad (very similar to greek salad). My husband sad he ate there the best German sausage.

The cashier was very friendly and nice guy.

Hidden gem for sure, and probably one of the best values in the entire city as inflation and COL skyrockets.

Best prices anywhere with huge portions. As a Chicago native, this is where I come when I feel homesick because this is the best chicago food I've had outside chicago. If you have a hankering for a burger, get the Breakfast in America, it deserves to be on one of best burgers in San Diego lists.

Owner is very friendly and is usually there running everything from cooking, cleaning, customer satisfaction etc. You can tell he wants to keep his customers happy and truly has the "chicago hustle" work ethic.

Could not recommend this place highly enough. Best food in this strip mall for sure.

We checked this place out for the first time today. The owner took our order and was a real character. We liked his sense of humor. Anyway, we ordered one burger and fries and one Italian sausage and fries. Both were good but not great. The sausage had a good flavor, but the roll it was served on ended up super soggy from the massive amount of tomato sauce on top of it. The fries also were just okay. They were limp, not crispy. Some people probably prefer limp, but we don’t. We’d give this another try, but we were underwhelmed.
