Chicken Shack - Churn Creek, Redding CA

Food was not editable. Fries soggy, chicken soggy. And nothing tasted like it was seasoned. I was kinda sad as the place smells amazing. The tables could literally stick to you. The guy at the register was nice.

This place will never be as good as it was before it changed owner (I think) a few years ago.before then it was great but ever since I am always disappointed when I go here. The biggest change was the fries, they were so good before but now they are meh.

Nice stop for chicken sandwiches, waffles and fries. They say the food is made to order and it may be a wait but our food was out in perfect time. Bonus points for the Gluten free bun! Unfortunately I couldn’t eat the fries as they aren’t GF friendly but other than that the naked chicken sandwich and apple slaw was delicious.

I am not someone that eats chicken a whole lot, I’ve never had a reason to not eat chicken, but I am 99% sure that this place gave me salmonella poisoning. I’ve never been sicker in my life. I was reading a review that was made about the chicken shack stating that their chicken was still a little pink, so i feel like that confirmed my suspicions about it.i hope yall do better paying attention to your ServSafe next time

Delicious chicken and waffle sandwiches!

I had the Mr Crispy it was a delicious chicken sandwich bathed in spicy honey served on waffles! I also got the angry Mac and cheese which lives up to its name! If you like hot cheetos you’ll love this. They also have some beer on tap. Definitely a new favorite.

Ordered online, asking for garlic to be added if possible ~ substituting garlic for added avocado ~ got some Parmesan garlic sauce stuff & poured it on my chicken fries. Soo yummy!
And delivered quicker than expected.

The food is good, but the indoor eating area needs some help. All the tables are sticky. Seems to be a problem with the finish on the tables. It's gross having your arms stick to the tables. Also, there were a ton of flies we had to keep shooing away. I'll probably go back but won't eat inside again.

The tables were sticky. I checked it was more than one table. Flies were everywhere, fighting you for you food. The food was ok. Kinda pricey for chicken.

Delicious food and great service. A really fun little place to eat and enjoy some specialty comfort food. I'd recommend the various "loaded fries" meals, especially the buffalo if you are in to that! Don't forget there are ice cream treats of you same any room for them - the waffle sunday is yummy!

Horrible experience chicken was reheated and dry every thing else was cold and even the beer tasted flat and watered down and for the outrageous pricing would not go back

Beautiful BBQ Chicken Salad, yummy too! Love their fries as well.light crispy outside, seasoned, hot n fluffy inside.

I ordered veggie sticks as a side and they looked like they were at least a week and an half old!
I can’t believe that an employee actually put those in my bag.

My absolute favorite food on earth. If I could choose a last meal on my death bed it would be from chicken shack. Immaculate.

Shorted us food then said there is a chicken shortage. Later they raised their prices again.
