Chief Physical Therapy

Chief Physical Therapy provides wonderful service and care to every one of their patients. I am always so kindly greeted not only by my physical therapist, Dr. Rebecca Sandoval but also by the amazing receptionist Brenda and Dr. Matt Allen. Dr. Sandoval is very skilled and has helped me tremendously regain motion and strength in such a short amount of time after getting shoulder surgery. I would highly recommend Chief PT to anyone in Temecula needing physical therapy!

Dr Rebecca Sandoval Treated me for a bad case of tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). Dr Sandoval treated me for about 10 seasons (twice a week) in conjunction with laser therapy, and I experienced I significant improvement in my condition over that period of time. Dr Allen is also treating my son Brandon after having had surgery for a severe meniscus knee tear and is making great progress under his care. The receptionist Brenda is also excellent and always very warm and friendly.

This place is great and I have torn my ACL twice and come here both time. Everyone is friendly and it is a great place to be.

Dr Rebecca Sandoval at Chief PT has provided me with exceptional physical therapy to recover for my complete shoulder replacement arthroplasty. This was a particularly challenging surgery and recovery for me; however, Dr Sandoval has provided me with excellent hands on PT and guided range of motion training. She has shown me with her patience, expertise and encouragement how to continue moving forward with the graduated post-op PT training and exercises at Chief PT, which I also routinely follow at home - all of which are showing very good results in my recovery of range of motion and strength. Five stars for Chief PT and Dr Sandoval.

I am new to the area and when I injured my back I had to rely on looking for a physical therapy place online.
I called here after reading many 5 star reviews and I was wondering if it possibly would measure up. It did!
Brenda, front office manager, called me back immediately after I left a message and set me up for the earliest appointment for a consult.
Dr. Matt Allen is so knowledgable about human anatomy and up to date in his area of expertise. I recognized that immediately. He listens carefully to what you say each session and focuses on your immediate concerns to proceed with your care. He is pleasant, challenges you, encourages you and most importantly helps you to achieve your goals so you can quickly get back to your normal life.
He does not pass you off to anyone else during your hour.
I achieved my results, had the confidence to go back to all my other activities and even add some new ones while having treatment. I am now continuing to do the exercises he gave me at home.
I highly recommend Chief Physical Therapy.

October 5,2023: Use Dr. Allen’s Laser machine! Do NOT wait. If you are in nerve, muscular, joint or injury pain, I cannot urge you enough to call and book an appointment for him for the laser machine. It’s pure magic…. But with evidence based scientific studies to back it up. My “science-based” daughter will not let me use anything not evidence based since getting her BSN degree & RN license and I contacted stage 4 endometrial cancer. I have very painful, chemo-induced neuropathy. I have been trying, painfully and with difficult limitations, to live with this condition for 5 years since my first chemo cancer treatments. My oncologist, neurologist and primary doctors have all told me that there is nothing I can do about neuropathy except to learn to move as best as possible with it.

BUT the neuropathy has quickly worsened with the new chemo/immunotherapy treatment that I started in June, 2023, with stage 4 recurrent cancer. I’m older and the compounded treatment is more aggressive this time around. The resulting pain and lack of balance have sadly affected my life and well-being in adverse ways. I have desperately reached out to UCLA educated and trained neurologists at their clinic in West LA. All continue to give the same: go to PT and learn to live with neuropathy as best as possible.
HAPPILY, I did call Dr. Allen for PT, and he told me about their laser machine and the research. Today I had my first laser treatment, and I am over the moon excited about the result. Dr. Allen cautioned that it may take several laser treatments, and I’m in it for the long haul, but I feel so much relief and optimism for my future for the first time in years that I could cry. I will continue to come back and add updates so that anyone reading this will have a record of someone’s performance with it. My feet and legs haven’t felt this good in years and I haven’t felt like biking or hiking for a long time, but I am now starting to think about being able to do those activities I once loved, again!

Give Chief PT a call if you want expert experience and book a laser treatment if you want hope from any injury, surgery or nerve disturbance. I think it would be great after such an invasive surgery like the ever popular knee replacement surgery or knee tendon injury. I can’t say enough good about

Chief Physical Therapy was a blessing. My son was referred here for his back and finally after dealing with over a year of back pain he has found relief. Dr. Matt Allen, Dr. Rebecca, and the front office have been so helpful and always welcoming. They are an amazing group of individuals who are also great with kids. Chief physical therapy is a very welcoming practice. When you walk in, you’re met with a remarkable receptionist. The office is a very relaxing environment allowing for a solid session to be able to focus without a lot of distraction. Dr. Allen is highly skilled and very compassionate to his patients. His attention to detail each appointment is impressive and allows for an overall A+ physical therapy session. His knowledge about human anatomy and helping treat the patient is very prominent in each session. He takes an interest in personal activities that the patient is involved with and truly gives hope to getting you back to enjoying the activities in life you may enjoy that may be currently limited. Each session I see results to different extents, and I love to be able to fully optimize carryover at home through the treatment and exercises he teaches during sessions. I highly recommend his office for your Physical Therapy needs.

I have been for 3 sessions. Dr. Rebecca has done phenomenal work mapping out my needs. I had been having a lot of foot pain. After each visit of in office Physical Therapy I feel better and stronger. She gave me clear instructions for home excercise. She is a great listener and spends the entire hour working on my foot problems. Very happy I found Chief Physical Therapy.

I have had six knee surgeries and have used five different therapy facilities, the last two surgeries using Dr. Allen’s Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula CA. I will not be looking for another provider, I have found the best.

I went to Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula because of recurring pain in my left knee while being physically active (ballet, pilates, running.) - bad enough that I thought I was going to have to give up some of the activities I love. I felt an improvement in my knee pain during my first appointment with Rebecca. She provided detailed exercises and feedback on my performance of those exercises and really listened to me. Not only has my knee pain all but disappeared, I've noticed my overall balance has improved. The office is organized, appointments start on time, and it's a very positive atmosphere.

Excellent therapists. All staff is friendly and helpful. Rebecca helped enormously with shoulder and TMJ.

Chief Physical Therapy in Temecula provided individual care in restoring my mobility after a revision of my total knee arthroplasty.

Just finished my PT for an achilles tendinitis with Dr Allen. I have spent years attending Rancho PT in Murrieta which has always been a good place to go for PT. However, I wanted to find a place that was closer to Meadows Pkwy in Temecula. I was also intrigued by the one-on-one concept that was explained on line. In a nutshell, Dr Allen spends the entire session with you. No assistants monitoring you. You and Dr Allen. Today was my last session and I can say today I made the right decision by going to Chief PT. I have actually accumulated and notebooked most of the routines that Dr Allen put me through. Although this is the last day I now have the confidence to do these stretches at home.
Dr Allen has a wealth of knowledge about the human anatomy and movement and does an excellent job building a relationship with his patients. He cares about his patients and is interested about you as a person. His relationship building is so strong that I'll miss sharing and laughing with him and his new and awesome front desk office manager Brenda.

His no nonsense approach to rectifying my knee problem coupled with his affable personality made my physical therapy over the last several weeks a complete success.
