Family owned and operated burger/shake/ice cream stand that runs summer months and has been running for years.

Did summer routine went to Frenchman lake first. Hung out. Then stopped at the frosty. Got a vanilla cone. Mmmm. They have the best ice cream. But don't stop there. They do good food. Shakes. Out of over 20 years never had a bad experience.

Me and my family have been coming here for years. Since the pandemic we missed the past two years. Our experience this time was terrible. They said our food would be a 25 minute wait and it was an hour or more. The place was run down outside with hardly any sitting. The food & drinks were way over priced for the quality. We were highly disappointed when the food came. My cheese burger was super soggy all the way around the bun. My milkshake wasn't even frozen. It was like drinking flavored milk. And my mother's chicken teriyaki sandwich was very dry. She asked for extra teriyaki sauce and they said it was marinated into the meat. She was very upset with the small dried out pieces of chicken, no sauce and no pineapple. We will not be returning.

My banana shake was good, but they should have rinsed the mixer before making the next shake. My son's oreo shake was also filled with banana, and that wasn't so good. I came here as a child and always remembered it being a treat after a day at the lake. This was the first visit for my son. I don't think he'd care if we ever stopped back by.
I would give fewer stars typically but I know it's been much better in the past. Hoping I just caught the team of teens working here on a bad day and that this isn't the new norm.

Honestly the food was okay at absolute best the burger patty was so thin I've seen doritos pack thicker meat and way to damn expensive, granted the whole state is but definitely not worth the money. Not to mention the whole burger was the size of 2 slider burgers from white castle

Best ice cream and service around. My family has been coming here every summer since it opened after our camping trips!

Good burgers but don’t go close to closing time they won’t serve you. I went at 545 and they close at 6. Maybe change the hours on your sign to be more considerate to your customers

Chillicoot Frosty is great but service was very poor this Sunday I know they're busy I live up there the way we got our food was presented just disrespectful and I've been going there since I was a kid matter of fact I worked in chillicoot so if there are many years and it's been fantastic but this year we're going down a little need to step up your game be more respectful to the people that are out there waiting for their food

Called, open but not taking over the phone orders? So can't call an order in to be picked up but can go wait outside for 30 minutes? Makes no sense. Why even answer the phone then? But these days of food "service" seems that the Chilcoot Frosty can now be lumped in with the 20 minute fast food drive thru. No matter if the food is very good, which generally is, if you change the rules all the time people will stop coming in. You'd think with the fires last year and the decrease in business at the Frosty. They'd at least let you pre-order food no matter how long it took. C'est la vie!

Food was delicious! Atmosphere is amazing! Not the fastest order and turn around time, but if you want fast food go to McDs, if you want good food and beautiful scenery eat here!

Local Burger Dive is fantastic. I always search out local joints like this one. Easy to find, just look for the line of people.great food and traditional Burger Dive cuisine. Love it. Milkshakes and fries are on point.

We had shakes here. They were absolutely 5 star shakes. Mine was the best shake I've had in years! The employees were also very kind.

I had to drop a star because we went on a Monday, and although their posted hours (and the hours quoted to me while there) say they are open until 6, when I arrived at 5: 20 I was informed that their grill was already off and that we could only order ice cream since they were closing soon. The explanation was that because it had been slow they were closing early.

I live in Cold Springs (about 20 minutes away), and had seen numerous posts on Facebook from Chilcoot Frosty asking for people to come and support. So, we wanted to give them a try. As soon as my husband got home from work we packed our 4 small kids in the car and drove the 20 minutes, only to be told that we would have to drive back home and make a new plan for dinner. There was no mention on the Frosty's Facebook page about closing early.

We came to support, so we ordered shakes, and they did not disappoint. However, the early close with no notice did. If you are asking a wide community to come and support you, please be open during the hours you have published or post to your social media presences if you must close early.

I took a picture of the menu and was told that the someone answers the phone number listed there during business hours and that I could call them to make sure they are going to be open for their posted hours. Maybe I will.

I've been going here since I was very little. We have gone to Frenchmens since I was a baby. We get our Christmas trees out there, do lake days and fishing there and we camp just past chilcoot almost every year. And every time we hear out to the lake we stop at Chilcoot Frosty either on the way there or on our way home! We usually just stop for the milkshakes and ice cream most of the time and they're both amazing but lately we grab a bag of fries too (yes it's a literal bag of fries, a brown paper lunch bag full of them) and they're super good and for around $5 we all get some.
The only bad side is that they have gotten very busy on the weekends and it seems like the wait for ice cream cones is pretty long. And when it's over 90 outside and you and the kids are tired from swimming and being in the sun all day, it's kind of bummer to stand there in that kind of heat for long enough that you're sure they must have forgotten your order cause 4 people who ordered after you got their food and you're just waiting on 4 vanilla cones. My last trip wasn't as great as all the others unfortunately but they were slammed and I get it. It's definitely worth the stop and it's part of my families summer lake day tradition and i plan to keep it that way with my child and my nephews so they can share it with their children one day.
Love you Chilcoot Frosty thanks for memories and please bring back the packed cups of ice cream it's too hard to eat an ice cream cone in that kind of heat, most of it just ends up all over my child and my leather seats and wasted.

Can't go wrong unless you're in a hurry cause it's quite busy at times, but always worth it.
