Chili's Grill & Bar, Long Beach CA

Place was completely empty.i show up and ask very very polite if they have coffee and desserts, i was planning just to enjoy the afternoon, and the hostess simply say, "if you not gonna eat, that's a 40 minutes wait " in a very rude way, 40 minutes waiting for what? There is literally 6 persons dining.just because i only gonna have a coffee and dessert i as literally turn away? Sad to see that this place have the worst customer service in all chillis i ever ben.

Sat outside for 20 mins waiting to be seated. Then we go and sit down and order the 2 for $25. Waitress was nice but really slow. A manager came over to pick up the dishes after we finish eating and he drops food everywhere. My shoes, socks and pants had salsa all over them. He cleans up the mess and hands me a towel to clean myself off and offered a free cheap dessert and gave us tortilla chips. He went to the back and didn't come back out and sent the waitress to finish getting our dessert and hand us the receipt. Then she had to go back and fix it twice because they were trying to charge us double. They could have at least given our meal for free.my shoes cost more than the food did. And they don't even validate parking. Terrible experience, I won't be coming back.

Ordered my food online walked in 5 mkn after. A girl told me it'll be ready soon brought my drink it was bland no flavor. She never came back. Empty restaurant about 8 servers and on 2 customers it's 445pm we'd sep 1st. I'm out here for work so I wanted some finger foods to eat before my long drive home back to the east la side. They forgot my ranch food was cold like it had been sitting around for like 15 min. Worst experience i have ever had. I will be telling all my people to never step foot in here I feel robbed of my money.

I am in front of restaurant it's totaly TOTALY empty and a disgusting girl said i have to wait 20 minutes if i want a table, so disrespectful and poorest mind. TOTALY DISGUSTING PEOPLE AND PLACE. TAKE MATTER ON THIS GIRL. 6: 15pm Tues Sep 07

Came here with a party of 5. It didnt seem too busy yet there was a 1 hour wait. The service was decent but the food was another story. I ordered the extra crispy tenders with corn and fries. My fries were soggy and chicken was hard and stale. The corn was the only good thing. We just wanted to leave yet there were no waiters around so we hand to wait evwn more. It was just an awful experience overal. Will not be coming here again

Food was great, Drinks were amazing. Our sever made a great experience. Clean, friendly, not crowded. Well done Chili's!

I got here a little after opening and the place is empty.tell me why they have a 30 minute wait when the restaurant is empty? I went next door to Hooters and already had my appetizer and before chili's texted me that our table was ready. If you can't afford to have sufficient staff to handle 10 tables, why even bother opening? Hard pass.

Always go to this location after visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific. The wait was a little long due to being under staffed but the food and service was great. The only thing that was an inconvenience is you can't order alcoholic drinks if you're sitting in the dining section. We tried to order during happy hour and were told we couldn't because our seating section was not in the bar area.

Order food there yesterday and we did not get two orders of soup, called waited 15 mins and got disconnected.called today 7/25 three times and each time got disconnected again. What's up with that.their phone doesn't work!

My expectations were already low, given that it' Chili's. However despite there not being that many people we had to wait. No big deal. We waited. We were seated. Our waitress was friendly. However, she forgot a few things with our order. Again, no big deal. Then we got our food. It was awful. I could have gotten better food at McDonald's. Talk about a waste of money. Dry, flavorless, bland, and very inconsistent. One bite was mild, the next my mouth was Burning as if I bit on a hot pepper. Maybe that's why they call it chili's. Anyways I'm guessing people don't come here for the food. Also they don't validate parking. Overall, bad experience. Will not be returning.

Warning ️ Horrible experience, went on 8/17/2021 and they are short of staff, food quality and taste not the same, and my waiter brought our drinks to the table and dropped a glass and it broke shattering glass every where and I got wet, then he gets our order wrong 3 times. Don't go it hasn't been the same since beginning of last year.

Very bad service, lack of management experience food is not fresh and servers fight and hit each other in front of clients.

Decent food for on the go. Took a little longer than the norm but it's okay. It happens to the best of us.

Great place and the portion sizes were good for long beach. This place got some flack for bad service and attitude, but it's more over worked and less staffed issues. Working in food service and retail myself I see both parties sides, I would recommend this place to anyone. Chili's is a great place to dine, have sone fun, drink and eat.

When we arrived to the restaurant, we entered at a time that was reasonable for a party of 5+. As soon as we entered, the hostess approached us and stated, “We’re not seating anymore parties, we don’t want to cook anymore. ” The hostess was clear that they did not want to work and there was still enough time. ”

Friendly staff but took extremely long time until order was ready. And even then it was incomplete when handed to me. Had to go back one or two times complete the order. Chili's needs to hire more togo people or have management step in and start observing the ticket times.
