ChillNOut Express Cryotherapy, San Diego CA

I was helped by a really nice guy named Roman. He explained the products offered in great detail and offered educated answers to all of the questions I had for him. Super friendly guy. I chose cryotherapy and stayed in the chanber for 3m33s and came out feeling a deep sense of euphoria. I continued feeling benefits for hours after. The way it was explained is that it opens your capillaries and expands the ability for lactic acid release. I highly recommend you try this out. 30.00 a session is completely worth it!

Been coming here for years doing cryo, sauna and red light. A literal life saver. Super nice staff, fast and easy.

Today was my first time visiting and I wish I could give it 10 stars. It’s quick, there’s parking, and it’s clean. I ended up getting a membership because I liked it so much. Roman checked me out and he was knowledgeable and as kind as the other reviewers mentioned. I appreciate kindness so much! It can be hard to find but only because I didn’t know it was located INSIDE of the fitness center.

I scheduled appointment for my daughters after their training, one of my daughters fell and broke her wrist. I immediately called Chill n out on our way to the hospital to let them know my situation.
And they proceeded to charge me a cancellation fee! This was going to be our first time, this situation was completely out of my control. I don't think I will ever return or recommend this place!

Went for the first time and loved it! I like how it’s different from traditional methods. I had the cryo room to myself, so I felt comfortable having my own privacy. I like how I can charge my phone while playing music in the cryo chamber. What a great way to pass the time. Had an amazing experience from start to finish. I’m a customer for life.

This place is amazing. I train several college level athletes through my company Work Ethic and I refer and send them all to Chill N Out to get Cryotherapy as much as possible. I also send my 14 year old son 2-3 times per week. The staff is amazing and alway accommodating.

I was looking to try out the cryo chamber to help work some pain I was dealing with in my back and knee. The chamber is super easy to use and the available blue tooth headphones make it easy to forget that you're freezing. There are two parts to the chamber, one get rid of moisture then the extra cold one where the magic happens. The main chamber takes a few seconds to get used to, due to the air being pumped in, it creates a wind-chill. The only difficulty that I had was finding the location. Chill n Out shares a space with other businesses, so it's not easily seen from the street. I went during the middle of the day, so street parking was ample. Thank you to Michelle for helping me out while I was there. I plan on going back to try some of the other services including the sauna and red light therapy.

I usually don't comment on these platform but I had a very unprofessional and rude experience so I have to vent. This place don't even deserve a star. I called in for an appointment and lady answered, sounds angry already moment she picked up the phone. I was a customer of Chill N Out since their Point Loma days and I had credit that was transferred to this new location. She flat out said no and we don't offer free therapy. I didn't ask for a free therapy, I had paid for them already in advance! With receipt! Already talked to the manager previous time in and he said to bring in a receipt and got it transferred over! She just said, talk to my boss I'm only getting paid minimum wage and hang up. Terrible customer service & phone skills, she needs to get retrained or fired. Have some respect for your clients. So what am I going to do with $100+ worth of service that I paid in advance to support our local business? Waiting for your response, Chill N Out operator!

I love the way I feel after each session! Red light is my favorite. Roman is so helpful and always has a smile on his face. Highly recommend all the modalities. <3

Elly was super friendly and gave me a great tour. I do jiu jitsu and was hesitant about cryo until I found this place! Had a wonderful conversation with a chick getting IV therapy. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough. An overall wonderful experience!

This place has changed my body and skin for the better! The red light therapy has helped clear up some skin issues and I sleep great after every session. The chill sculpt has helped me discover abdominal muscles I didn’t even know that I had! I live to stack my appointments and finish up with the infrared sauna to sweat all the toxins out. Honestly, it’s been life changing.

Really like this cryotherapy spot. Great service by Elly, dual chamber, which made it very convenient and very cold. They provide everything you need, so you don’t have to bring any of your stuff. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about this place! Amazing cryo chamber. Cryotherapy here helped calm my nervous system down tremendously and I couldn’t be more thankful. The red light bed is a dream, too! Wish I could transport them wherever I go! Will be back anytime I’m in SD. Support this small business!

I love the office on San Diego Ave as they have Cryo, Red Light Bed, Sauna and Compression Therapy all in one place. (SD Botox is also in the facility.) Their prices right now are very low to get new customers so give a call or drop in. Cryo is only $15 and add on one of the others for $10. A real bargain. I do at least two therapies each time I am in.

Exactly what I wanted without getting drenched from ice baths. Perfect for post rugby matches.
