This place is deceiving from the looks. It's the best Chinese food in Orange County. The portions are huge.

Always pass this place on the way home from work and this place is sooooo good. Can’t put into words how much the food is very delicious but also affordable. Will be coming back here again!

Honestly, it was one of the best Chinese takeout food I have ever had. It was late and they were not really friendly.but the food was really good (orange chicken was crispy.
Chicken w/o teriyaki so good and the beef and broccoli yummy.fried rice good too. First time.not the last!

One of my local favourites because China Bowl Express serves more authentic Americanized-Chinese fast food than some others.
Eg. Black bean pork & tasty thin rice noodles.
Orange Chicken meat is tender, not hard and stringy like it is at times at Lucky.
Actual Chinese cook!
One of the few places where adding a 4th side dish doesn't cost a lot - just $2.99.3 item combo price is lower than many other competitors at $9.29 despite inflation.
Service is quick most times, much shorter wait during rush hours than Lucky.

I’ve tried a lot of Chinese food places since I moved here but the food here is superior in freshness and quality of ingredients. The portions are generous and the sauces are full of flavor. I’ll be driving a little farther from now on to eat here. On the day I went they were cash only and I’m glad I went to get some cash at the grocery store in the same plaza, or I would have missed finding my new favorite restaurant.

I loved it here and so will you! Prices are super affordable and quantity is just right! Even if that wasn't the case the taste of the food was astonishing. I had never tried angel hair noodles and they were fabulous. 10/10 all day

Cheap, fast, and super filling. The sweet and sour chicken I had was a little warm though and you could tell it was made a while ago. Also, the rice is somewhat plain, soy sauce is needed. Will come again

I was surprised how inexpensive and fresh the food is here. Bright, colorful veggies, lots of vegan and vegetarian selections, tasty sauces. Not too spicy or salty but flavorful and not greasy! One item just $2.99? Four for $9.99. Big portions. I did not get sick afterwards as Chinese food often makes me feel terrible. Great find. We will be back. No athmosphere, you go here for quick take out. Only minus is that the beef was very chewy. Chicken was excellent.

Food is good but they are extremely cheap and rude. Certain items like bbq pork are not allowed to be one item combo and when you get an additional item they give you a much smaller portion of pork. Sucks they are so cheap really makes me not want to return

Orange chicken was very good. Rice was perfect. Noodles are the best. If that isn't enough the food is ready and waiting to be served fresh. So many people go through I doubt the food sits long at all.

Usually very nice lady or place. Food is great but today really rude lady and bad customer service. Chinese people place or people gave the reputation for bad customer service. Not surprise

Not one of the better Chinese Fast Food. The rice was crunchy. Wasn't able to order BBQ pork as a single item entree. And the portion size was rather small. Definitely have had better at other establishments. Probably won't be going back. Sorry

Owner and workers are super amazing, always serving more than large portion. You literally can have lunch and dinner with one order! This is my to go place for comfort food day

The Noodles are awesome fresh cooked but missing some spices for sure. Eggplant was delicious very well cooked, fried rice was just perfect, orange chicken is really crisp. All food cooked here is fresh. Server guy is very courteous and helpful. The only thing they need to pay attention is the bussing tables and garbage near entry outside the door and remove trash as soon as it's full. It looks dirty but don't get me wrong THE PLACE WAS CLEAN NO FLIES NOTHING but if the tables are wiped, trash is removed and the trash door is closed properly & empty boxes thrown outside and garbage outside the main door is removed. I am sure it will look pleasant. I will visit soon again to give another shot to this place but so far good is good cleaning needs attention. Come-on China Bowl earn the balance 2 stars from me.

Been coming here for years. It’s right across my doctors offices. Outstanding food quality and value and the proprietors are very accommodating.

I Love this place all the food are so grate not oily and salty. I will recommend to all my family and friends. If I can put 6 star I will.
