Chin's Szechwan - Rancho Bernardo, San Diego CA

Prices, food and service are very good. The menu needs work - too many items and print was too small. The slightly dark atmosphere is nice, but I saw people using a flashlight to read the menu. Tsingtao and Sapporo beers didn't taste right, not sure why and I've loved them both before. Stone IPA was fine. Flatware is the cheapest institutional stamped flatware one can buy for a restaurant. I understand people steal flatware, but the really cheap stuff hurts your business even more.
The Massage Parlor next door really hurts this restaurant's outside appearance. Maybe that's why it's so slow on a Wednesday night. If I owned this business, I'd move.

Horrible service. Was waiting at front podium to be seated Two people waiting to pick up food in front of me. Waited for ten minutes with absolutely no one coming to seat me. The person whose job that is was frantically trying to get take out order ready. I ended up leaving after two more take customers walked in front of me.

Actually glad. The food here is crazy salty and greasy. Overpriced for the cost.

Sad to say the service was not very good today. I ordered a hot tea when I sat down at the table and it arrived when I was halfway done with my meal. Also, I asked for hot sauce and it never showed up. The noodles were too greasy and I ended up with a stomach ache not soon after I left the restaurant. Took them forever to acknowledge the fact that I was done eating, but they were quick to bring the check. Not the best experience.

Mahalo for your restaurant. Service was not as I thought it would be. The server was not as pleasant and was rushing. Felt like she wanted us leave already.

One of our daughters favorite places so we did take out for her Birthday. And we were not disappointed. Wide variety of options and we always have food left over. Great place to dine in also!

Ordering online is painful! The people taking your order are in a different location and are not familiar with the menu at all. Takes forever. Took me 20 minutes place an order for three standard dishes. And many times the orders are incorrect because they are unfamiliar with the menu. Ownership please change this.

A great take out experience. The young lady who helped me and my shaggy 6 yr old was absolutely lovely. Nice smile, knew the menu, was professional and courteous. The food is always fantastic. Mu shu pork, beef with brocolli, tangerine chicken and chicken lo mein. We dining in or taking out. We'll definitely be back!

They've been around for decades for a reason. Great takes on classic Americanized Chinese dishes. Always worth a stop when we're in town

Chin's has always been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The food and service were very good.

Usually Chins is great. Not tonight. The pork in the pot stickers was raw and the chow mein vegetables tasted burnt. Not happy.

Walked in at 5ish and we were sat right away, they came and took our order Almost immediately, the food was awesome and piping hot when it came out and smelled amazing. We ordered the spicy honey wing, lo mein, beef and scallops plate and everything was delicious. Give it a try

Chin’s is always good food. Been doing takeout for years. And they have a decent amount of glutton free items for the Mrs.
This time we did the online Door Dash pickup way of ordering. Simple, easy, order is exactly what you selected, and you get texts as the order is prepared. So when we got there, we already knew it just came out.

First time since last year we've been here. Since the pandemic we've only eaten out a couple times a year. So glad we came back here: as usual the food is delicious and the service is great.

Recently I visited Chin’s Schezwan. The place is well lit, beautiful interiors with spacious seating arrangements. Attentive staff and quick service. Their is menu is very elaborate with a wide variety to choose from. Below are a few things we tried from their vast menu:

Schezwan Tofu
Sweet and Sour Tofu
Lo Mein Soft Noodles

Overall experience was amazing. Must visit.

Expensive but delicious food. Wonderful table enabled all in our large party (9 + infant) to visit with each other. Service was attentive.

Ridiculously high price with poor quality food. It is even worse than Panda Express, while the price is almost double than it.

Saucey, spicy, crispy fried deliciousness.
This is Chin's signature shrimp dish.
The shrimp is fresh and firm with a semi sweet flavor added with heat. Comes with a halo of blanched broccoli. Never over cooked.
The service is wonderful.

Wouldn't go back. Prices are too high for what you get. All 3 dishes we ordered lacked protein and were heavy on vegetables or noodles. The flavors were very bland.
