Chipotle Mexican Grill

This chipotle was fine prior to the pandemic. But afterwards it’s slowly gone downhill. Tonight was so bad I actually had to submit a review.

The he ingredients are not bad. But the staff needs to be trained. Seems like there’s one team who makes the mobile orders and they do well. And the other team makes the in store food and it’s madness. One of the servers didn’t know proper portions of ingredients. Paying for the order was way too long, despite having the food right in front of me.

This really needs to be closed for a couple days to retrain the staff.

Ordered food online and they had given it away before I arrived. Manager was rude and unresponsive, refused to make up order or offer refund. Worst experience ever, will not return.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chipotle in Mountain View, California, and it was a delightful culinary experience. The food was not only delicious but also fresh, and the service was exceptional, making for a memorable meal.

Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by the vibrant atmosphere and the friendly staff, which immediately set a positive tone for the dining experience. I ordered a Salad Rice Bowl, opting for a half-and-half mix of white and brown rice, black and pinto beans, veggie sofritas, accompanied by their heavenly guacamole and chips.

The Salad Rice Bowl was packed full of flavors. The mix of white and brown rice provided a wonderful texture and added an interesting twist to the dish. The black and pinto beans were cooked to perfection, and the veggie sofritas added a satisfying meaty texture without the actual meat. It was fresh, hearty, and filling.

But the real stars of the show were the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was exceptionally fresh and creamy with just the right amount of tang. The chips were perfectly crispy and lightly salted, providing a pleasing crunch that complemented the smooth guacamole wonderfully.

What stood out to me the most was the freshness of all the ingredients. You could tell that everything was prepared on the spot, and the high quality was palpable in every bite. The portion sizes were also generous, ensuring you got good value for your money.

In addition to the fantastic food, the service was top-notch. The staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. They ensured that my order was correct and prepared quickly, adding to the overall positive dining experience.

This Chipotle location is a real gem in Mountain View. It offers delicious, healthy, and satisfying meals, coupled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal. This place certainly knows how to do fast food right!

Showed up and they said they are only processing online orders (no signage suggesting this was the case). I place an order online and while waiting they serve 1-2 other people in person.

They say open at 10: 45 however they are never open on time. They Will literally open the door after 11

Worst chipotle ever! They are always late for pick up orders, and are constantly out of ingredients. This location has a serious QA issue. Corporate should shut this location down or audit it, this location has the worst and most uncooperative employees including management ever! Do yourself a favor and go to the on on East Charleston a few miles away.

I know nothing will change. They still get so much business… just wanna say that the last 3 times I’ve been there chicken was SALTY! There’s no need for that much SALT.it’s soooo nasty. 15 dls everytime. And I can’t eat anything. Too much SALT! Too much! It’s nasty …

I never write reviews but this Chipotle is so terrible that you need to be warned! I should have read the reviews myself. I couldn’t believe this is what my child’s quesadilla looked like and it took 20 mins to be made. It’s more like a soft taco with shredded cheese, I doubt it touched any heat because the cheese wasn’t melted at all (see pic). Who gets a cheese quesadilla wrong? !

Checked out workers, understaffed, they give you scraps of the end of the guacamole container and charge you full price without shame. Maybe if you come here off hours it’s better.

As the others before me have mentioned, the portions are inconsistent, especially on the lesser amount if you do mobile orders here. Also, don't be surprised if you end up waiting 30 minutes beyond the estimated ready time if you do a mobile order, especially if there is a large order ahead of yours. From what I have seen, when they receive a large mobile order, they only focus on the mobile queue order and those who are physically in line. As a result, the dining area can get filled with people all waiting on their mobile orders without any clear communication when their specific order is ready.

That said, I think management and efficiency can be improved here. For one, I would like to suggest that they also work on some smaller mobile orders during the processing of large mobile orders. Also, it would help the place if they cleaned up the grill and dining area even during slow hours (see pictures taken at around 3 PM).

For guests, I would recommend to order on-site for this location as you will get overall faster and better service here. Also, I would recommend the carnitas as the grilled items such as the steak and chicken can get pretty carcinogenic as you can tell from the picture of the grill attached. It's usually not like this at other Chipotle chains at least.

The service is an absolute disaster at this location. Unfortunately, this is the closest chipotle, and I am sometimes here out of convenience, but the last several visits, I have had my online order messed up or missing something.

For my last order, I did not get any guacamole in my burrito. When I went to let them know that my burrito was missing guacamole, they scooped some guacamole onto plate and handed it to me instead of just offering to make me a new burrito or adding it to my current one. They did not say anything other than “okay” and practically threw the bowl of guacamole at me.

I always come here because is very close to my work place but this time I was so surprised to see how bad customer service was. The guy who serve my food was Renzo and his actitud is just sad. He never welcomed me, he never greet, he didn't ask anything I just have to tell him everything what I want. I understand that I have to say what I want but where is the engagement with the customer? Where is the politeness? His service it was just like the prisoners that serve food that you see in the movies, and who charged me is not behind. She didn't let me scan my QR code so I can get rewards, nothing. So rude all of them and very poor customer service. I think that the person who manage this location don't train the people who comes to work there. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Workers can’t even open on time. If ur slow just say that. Got me wasting my time waiting 15 min after 10: 45am

Worst burrito of my life. It was cold. I like dairy and I've never had too much sour cream or too much cheese before but they made it happen. Don't know why I tried this chain again after ten years. Big mistake!

Took a couple minutes for employee to take my order. I ordered burrito with steak. The steak had alot of fat on it. I ate alot of fat instead of steak. Are they not supposed to trim the fat? Chipotle has let me down alot, the last 5 times I've been there, it's been bad experiences. I will visit a Mexican restaurant next time.

Worst chipotle I have been to in my life. It is a miracle if they get your order right. And if they don't stiff you in portion size then you should drive to a hospital immediately because you are probably hallucinating.

Also it seems like this location is just permanently out of fajita veggies. Not to mention consistently long waits, they randomly switch to online ordering only (although have seen them take walk ins when people ask so not sure what the point of that is). The interior is always filthy every time I visit (if you take a plastic fork it is best to just grab it and go, don't look too closely inside. Better yet just bring your own utensils, I fear I may have chopped years off my lifespan using their forks).

I genuinely cannot think of a single positive thing to say about this location. Except maybe one time when I ordered in person there was this chill dude working who actually loaded me up on chicken. Sadly I never saw him again. He was too good for this Chipotle anyways.

Tldr: Avoid at all costs. There is another location 10 minutes from this one that is much better. Or just get taco bell.

Always running out of toppings - I went here twice in a week and both times they only had rice chicken and salsa. That’s it. Please do yourself a favor and never order through the app for this location unless you want to get robbed of your money.

Ordered on DoorDash and my entire order was made wrong. Disappointed after a longs day work wanting an easy meal for it to be inaccurate and missing items.
