Chitactac-Adams Heritage County Park reviews
12Great for photos, there's not much at the site but there looked to be trails you could take. Could be better cared for but otherwise nice location. Poor service in November 2022 around the area but good at the park.
A neat little nature walk with lots of interesting placards about nature and native American life in colonial times.
If you REALLY have an interest in Local History, then this is the place! One of the few places in the busy South Bay where you can actually be at one with nature by yourself. Interesting vibes related to what it represents.
This place can be magical for people that really appreciates and enjoys nature. Great place for the whole family
Interesting place, lots of local history. We enjoyed walking the paths and reading the signs. It's too bad the telescope was gone so we couldn't see the petroglyphs.
Didn't even know about this park, or the heritage behind it, very knowledgeable now.will recommend to friends
Cool place to learn about the history of the area. Not really much area to hike though. More of a museum than a true county park.
It's a nice place I used to go there in 1989 swim and used to be a rope where you could just launch to the other side of the river now it's all nice trail I was surprised how nice it was now then it was back then
It is a historic place where petroglyph were found. There is a preserved piece to look closely. Couldn't spot any on the rocks in nature as drawings have eroded and faded. There are 2 nice areas of benches under shades for picnic. Hiking trail is very small. Took us hardly 15 min to cover both sides
Fascinating area of Native American history. Area has a casual self guiding hike of area that had been major Chitactac settlement.
First time coming here there is alot of rules on this lil park but its really relaxing for a 15 min walk
