7I met Jen at the north park farmers market and gave her my grandmothers boots to repair. It was a bit unnerving giving an heirloom and trusting they were in good hands, but I’m happy to report they were treated well! They placed a new tread on bottom, inserted comfy inserts, repaired some crumbling veneer, and shined them up for well under my 100 dollar budget. I love the option of picking up at the farmers market instead of Chula Vista. Thank you!
Chito’s does work! Dropped off a pair of timberlands for new soles and mid soles and my wife’s moccasins that needed a full rebuild, they came out amazing!

I brought in a pair of Sorrel side-zip dress boot hiking boots, which should have still been under warranty (Which Sorrel did not honour). The shoemaker did a fair job at replacing the soles, reworking the heel, laying new latigo lace trim, and a few other minor defects. The boots looked pretty darn good and gave them a second wind. I only say fair because my stride is off from injury and the sanding aspect of the repair was kinda opposite of what I needed, but they still worked and looked fine.
I adore shoe repair in lieu of purchasing new, in consideration of ecological conservation. 'Definitely will like buying a pair of refurbished used shoes from Chitos.

A friend recommended this shop years ago and I have not stop going. They have always done great work on my shoes. I trust their work. They have always been friendly, honest and respectful. I’m a happy and satisfied customer.
I took in two pair of shoes. One looks amazing, cant even tell they were broken. My other pair are great but i think mostly because appreciation to have them back. You can see that some glue ozzed out. Im sure if i cated i could have them clean it up but i don't. Maybe it us unfair that I am taking a star away for that and running late. This location closes early. It's hard to get there before they close at 2pm
