CHOCOLATINE French Café reviews
15We went here for breakfast, as we are visiting the town. The food was good and so as the service. We would definitely come back.
Just learned while in France that this iconic spot is going to close end of August 2023 due to 30% rent rise by greedy landlord. Will they relocate or return to France is the question.
I never buy ANY croissant nor chocolatine while in France as I wait upon the first day of my returns to SPLURGE on both while driving to work for a DIVINE, HEAVENLY commute!
Beautiful little cafe. Delicious sandwiches and.pastries. Very authentic French crepes. And the service is great. I go back every chance I get.
The food is pretty great here and the service too. They have a wonderful menu selection and the service staff are the best.
What a hidden gem! Wonderful people and service and exceptional food. I didn't like their chocolate truffles very much but everything else, the soup, the sandwiches, the coffee was outstanding. It does get busy and doesn't have a lot of seating so plan accordingly.
Great food, cozy atmosphere and wonderful service. Owner operated with consistently tasty meals and treats. Something to eat as a treat, a snack or a full meal!
Food was too good that I forgot to take a picture! Highly recommend this place! Feels like home and great customer service. 5 stars!
What an amazing experience, The owner personally makes sure your order is fresh and served with a Savoir Faire. It is absolutely my go to!
A very authentic French bakery. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. Quite a contrast to the busy street it is on. We had a quiche and a croque and they were both amazing. I grabbed two chocolate croissants on the way out and they were the best I'd had in a while. The price matches the quality. I didn't feel like I over paid for what I got. I'll have to come back to try all the other bakery items.
Chocolatine is a really neat French cafe, with a really nice ambiance and friendly staff. Unfortunately they do have a policy of closing their kitchen 30 minutes prior to closing so I was not able to order any food, but everything looked delicious! The mojito soda was great, I'm surprised it isn't a traditional flavor here. There are a handful of tables inside and 2 outside however it does get very sunny in the front in the middle of the day.
Terribly rude, with cold coffee. Could have tolerated the poor quality product if the owner wasn't such a Karen.
My husband and I were there recently and this little cafe became our favorite. It’s very cozy and very nice inside. We tried their chocolate mousse and lemon tart and they were delightful. The coffee was really tasty too. We are looking forward to going back there soon
Possibly the best Croque Monsieur (grilled cheese) we have ever had! Fresh bread in panini-style. We also had a Jesuite (almond pastry) and a Petit Chou. The coffee is really good!
Such a quaint spot on busy TO Blvd that feels worlds away!
We always come here, the environment is so french and has that little magic that you only get in France. Love it.
All the food we had was excellent, and the service was great. The coffee is excellent as well
