Chris Babcock Art reviews
6Our experience with Chris Babcock this summer was awesome. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was our first time enrolling in her camp. I appreciated that before I enrolled she made sure I understood the program was for kids who truly want to learn how to paint. Chris has a way about her, very talented and great with kids. My child really thrived, learned technique and begged daily to stay in aftercare. The pugs were the icing on the cake. We are excited to explore more with Chris’ programs, even for adults!
My child appreciated the small class size and number of assistant teachers in the room. There were several tables kids were grouped at with assistants belong kids with their chosen drawing. My son painted a Pokémon on a skateboard and he enjoyed learning about painting techniques from layering to choosing the right type of brush or marker for his creations. He enjoyed the controlled environment where every moment of the camp was spent on art with plenty of breaks for socializing. He appreciated that kids were not goofing off because of how well structured the camp was. We will be coming back in the future!
We did not expect this camp to have such a positive experience on our kid. She thoroughly enjoyed the experience and begged to stay in the after care portion. Her confidence as an artist but even more importantly, as a developing child soared. Highly recommend. The pugs are a huge sell too. And lastly, she made some pretty magnificent art. Lovely experience all around.
Chris is an amazing teacher. Chris has a gift of bringing the creative side out of kids. Both of my kids loved her summer camp. Attached is one created by my 9 year old.
Such a gem of an art studio! Our child absolutely loves the after-school classes.
Chris Babcock art is a magical place. Chris has a way of making anyone who walks in the door at ease and unlocking the creative potential inside of them through loving encouragement and laughter. I took Adult art classes here once a week for three years, unlocking my own creative journey into painting and drawing. All three of my children have taken lessons here and their work is proudly framed and displaced in their spaces. This is a fun, generative and energetic place you must try!
