Christmas In The Park reviews
15A fun time with friends! Not a ton to do besides walk and talk and maybe buy some hot cocoa, so definitely bring friends to spend the time with or you might get bored easily. It's definitely somewhat crowded, so be prepared for a crowd and stay close so you don't lose each other. Otherwise, super fun time and atmosphere!
It's always a fun and magical experience for the kids. Parking can be tough during this time, so plan to walk.
The Xmas decorations are beautiful, but just Beware of the traffic and crowd. The car jam after 7pm is crazy and barely moving.
This experience was so very heartwarming and exciting. There was so much to see and do. I wanted to go back the next day. I plan on an extended stay next time.
Every year I look forward to Christmas in the Park! The Christmas are Beautiful, the light show on the giant tree is fun to watch, and the Hot Chocolate is a Treat! Some of the animitronics are kinda creepy, but absolutely Love Christmas in the Park!
Everything is very nicely decorated and what I like is that the games also work during the day to take the children, what is expensive is the food they sell inside the park!
It is a beautiful organization of a variety of Christmas decorations. Unfortunately most of the exhibits are quite old. Suggest them to add new items annually to make it more appealing.
Fun to walk around. Awesome to see the different sponsors of each tree. Food was so-so, vendors were friendly. There was way too many hot dog and balloon vendors, selling the exact same thing! We liked the over-priced hot chocolate. Knew we were paying too much for hot water, and chocolate power, but it was super cute the staff were more than sweet. Bathroom situation was horrible, not clean, no light at night to see. Smelly. And unsafe to even approach; someone could fall from garbage (wet, toilet paper outside the stalls.)
A nice Christmas tradition for the family. Treats, rides, and live music as you walk around looking at old animated Christmas displays and decorated trees.
Christmas in the park
also good if you visit it in the afternoon (lesser people)
there are different christmas trees, some foods and drinks
a good place to visit with your kids as there are some games nearby
free of charge
need some time to find a parking nearby
It was good but most took only cash. The Mexican Hot chocolate was horrible! The churros were good. The regular hot cocoa stand at least was great. $10 for one hotdog is price gouging hell. The displays were nice. The layout makes it hard to enjoy however because it's crowded as heck.
Park your car at San Jose Convenience Center parking, and it's a small walk from there. Streets are pretty crowded, but great decorations and full of energy. They also have small rides for little kids
Come here every year. Must do with kids during holidays in San Jose.
Restrooms are porta potties else you will need to go to one of the cafes or restaurant if you don’t want to use them. Usually it’s pretty cold and warm clothes and gloves recommended. They had fewer rides thank prepandemic this year. Most rides they had this year was for little kids. You can buy a pass/tag for kids and they can go on any ride any number of times.
It was a wonderful experience and a lot of fun for both kids and adults. A lot of Christmas trees with different lights. It is free for everyone and it was hard to get a parking spot. Lots are full and expensive other than that it was great time.
Loved how the residents came together to make a beautiful Christmas park. There are 100s of Christmas trees. Also, 4-5 mexican and American food joints. What is not to like?
