4Hashem did my hair cut. I went there for the first time. Place is very clean and very professional. I will definetely go back here. Hashem was very kind and patient, did not hurry it.
I have been a client here for many years. Although prices are relatively high here, the service is great.
I got full color and a haircut. The stylist was very sweet but her color application was quite messy and left brush mark stains on my skin around the forehead. Also, she ended up blow drying my hair with round brush then decided to use a flat iron on my hair. Which i never normally use, but to my surprise (because the chair was not facing mirror so I didn’t know) she curled my hair and i dislike curly hair on myself. So i just wish she would have asked if I wanted that or not like most stylist do. And wish the color application was less messy. The hair cut I received is alright, a bit blunt and choppy looking for my liking but luckily my hair grows fast. I just don’t think I’d go back to the same person that’s for sure.
Let me start by saying that Marika is sweet and nice, but the results after my perm look VERBATIM my hair before I entered the studio. I asked for SUPER CURLY HAIR such as Shakira and Sandy from Grease during the last scene. I showed her tons of photos. She said "yeah yeah, I get it. "
I noticed she used big rollers. I get a curl perm every year, but I wanted to try Christopher Perry for the great reviews. My last stylist did loose curls, so I told Marika, loose curls don't last. I was TIGHT SPIRALY CURLS. My hair was NOT curly after. I'm giving this review a week later because I wanted to give it a chance. Guess what? My hair looks EVEN STRAIGHTER THAN BEFORE. In fact, my friends are looking at me telling me my hair looks STRAIGHTER than before!
After my perm, I asked Marika, "Hey, usually I see curls after a perm. I don't see any curls. " She told me they'd come soon. I felt like she's a more beginner stylist.
NOPE. My hair is not curly, and this was the most expensive curl perm I've ever paid in my life. I usually pay $120-$140 for all my past salons. This was at least a $185 charge which I gave with a small tip because I already sensed I wasn't going to get curls. $200 down the drain!
Come here for color and maybe a light body wave. Don't come here for a $200 curl perm where your hair ends up stringy and straight!
