20Sales staff was very helpful in getting me "connected" with all the driving and media features of my new car.
Service department is HORRIBLE. They refuse to talk to you on the phone, only text, but when they decide they are done texting you, they just start ignoring you. I requested an appt twice and never got a response. I will be getting all my paid services done in Redding and Sacramento.
I've heard many other people in Chico feel the same way about their Service dept. Also, read their other negative reviews, all related to their Service Dept. Stay away!

I can’t say enough about Chuck Patterson. We bought our car there, a RAV4, and we have never experienced such a great experience like we did with Brian and Alicia. They were so awesome. We purchased a Dodge/Ram 1500 in September 2023. The sale people were friendly and willing to negotiate a fair price. We were able to purchase a new vehicle and drive off the lot in about two hours. We had a very pleasant experience and I recommend this dealership.

Service department is very rude. They also refuse to do warranty work on vehicles they sold, saying there is nothing wrong with the car less it's out of warranty. They also make it hard to even set up an appointment for warranty work. The sales reps will lie straight to your face. Iv bought two new vehicles from them over the years. I will never again and I don't recommend them as your car dealership.
Great place to shop for an auto. Pleasant customer service, brought us each a bottle of water, didn't get overly pushy or nosey about all our personal info and let us say what we wanted. To be clear, the lack of a 5 star review really isn't the fault of this dealership; it all boils down sadly to Toyota's lack of inventory.
I've taken my Prius here for routine maintenance a couple times in the last year, and both times I was met with friendly staff and timely, quality service. I'll continue coming back for all my maintenance needs going forward!
Nick and the technicians took great care of me and my Tacoma. Had some AC issues driving home from the coast and they got me right in. They got everything serviced and AC blows way colder than before. I am very picky with who I let work on my vehicles and will definitely be back for future services and inspections. Chuck Patterson overall has been outstanding since I purchased my truck in Oct 2021.
This was our first time ever buying a new car. Brendon and Eric were extremely helpful and accommodating. The sales floor was clean and the atmosphere was pleasant. Probably the best place to buy a new car in Chico.
I drive from an hour north for the service vs my local service center. That's how good they are at Chuck Patterson. Excellent service again.

I will say your new cut off hours for appointments is too early. Taking your last appointments at 3: 40 PM for an oil. Change is way too early. It should at least be 4: 40 PM.
I can't always take an afternoon off work to get my oil changed. Most people can't either.
Again I love the service and just wish you could extend your hours to at least 4: 30 for your last appointment.
Had an appt.for a squeaking engine April ‘23. Drive belt needed replacing. Done. Service tech also noted in the paperwork that the front had a clunking and looseness. Said I’d have it taken care of next visit.
Had some battery issues recently, made another appt, July ‘23. Mentioned the note from my last visit and said they’d “diagnose” the problem. Turns out there is no clunking or looseness as stated by Heather. But the tech that made that note no longer works there due to “things like that”. She then acted like not charging me for labor time was doing me a favor. It took nine hours for them to patch a tire and tell me my alternator is bad for $590. She tried for $700 but that wasn’t happening.
Worth mentioning Heather is the worst communicator in the service world. She repeatedly interrupted and talked over me as I attempted to highlight my issues.
Do not go here for service. It’s a scam.
I recently paid over 330 dollars for a alignment and system check. I wasn't notified I had 2 front markers out, I would think they could replace this vehicle code violation 25950 before I took my prius home.obviously unless they get paid or told specifically what to do safety isn't a concern. I won't choose them again for service or ever buying a vehicle from them
