Church's Texas Chicken, San Ysidro CA

I always order spicy chicken.v

Every time, I have to wait 20 minutes.

Sunday I went around 6 pm. The guy said I had to wait 40 minutes.

I said forget it

Forgot to mention, it is more expensive.

13 dollars plus tax for 9 pieces

I've been stopping here when we come to the border. This last visit was not a good one first the chicken and mashed potatoes were kinda cold and biscuits were very chewy not fresh! You still can't dine in and the patio tables need some TLC.

If you want a good deal dont buy the family packages instead build your own like the 3 pcs meals with a biscuit buy like 3 of them for like 12 ddls and then add a side its cheaper thst way

Really dreadful food. I couldn't eat it. Go to KFC. I am older so could well be my lack of tolerance for poor fast food. But this is the worst fast food I could only eat part of.

The chicken is very crispy and coleslaw is good balance of sour and sweet.one of the memorable rival chicken place in SD. I miss it from japan.

Their employees didnt speak English like at all! The wait in line was ridiculous and their employees aren't friendly or practice responsible and required cleanliness.but the food was bomb.

It was my first time to a Church's Chicken but it won't be my last. The service was very good, and the food was very delicious and fresh.

Needs renovations since yesterday. Imma put it out there it's difficult to understand each other. Language barrier wich is basic when you think of the menu, But not really this time.

The lady at the counter gives EXCELLENT AND QUICK SERVICE! The SPICY CHICKEN IS THE BEST! LOVE THIS PLACE. I cross the border from Tijuana JUST TO GO THERE.

Had been to Church's chicken in years. Made it a point to come to this location as I did when I was a child. Still as good as I remember! Service was friendly and fast. Unique little store.

The food is good but the service can improve they allways out of breast I have to wait for it every time one time I have to ask for my money back (it was taking to long)

All they were excellent tonight we got like 3 buckets of chicken on some tenders are adequate community so for the tenders because they needed to cook those but ya a federal large group on all they were fast so I really don't have no complaints about churches chicken

The chicken was Grey in the middle and flimsy. Fried chicken shouldn't be flimsy. When i fit it it looked nothing like chicken it was so bland and tasteless i threw it out my car window. I don't know what that mess is but its not chicken. The biscuit tasted like a grease ball. The frosted ones look like someone nutted all over them! Their food is flat out disgusting now
