Ciao Balboa reviews
16Ordered the Tutti Mare and it was one of the best Italian seafood dishes I’ve ever eaten so I highly recommend that as an entree selection!
We had two pasta dishes. Both were absolutely delicious. Our server Jorge was quick to respond and on top. The Fettuccine Alfredo was incredible.
Best Italian Restaurant in town
Best for family with two kids
Very welcoming and professional staff
We came in multiple times and ordered different items on the menu and everything was amazing, from the pizzas, calzones, salmon, to the pasta. Definitely recommend this place.
Ciao is a favorite stop when in town. Great food and great service on one of our favorite islands!
The place is very dirty and not worth the money. The food is okay not anything specially i honestly would never come to this place ever save yourself time and don’t come.
We ordered vegetable pasta, but somehow, chicken ended in the dish
Unfortunately I would not call this an Italian restaurant. Very americanised. The pasta was not al dente, and the pizza resembled a ready-made dough topped up with few ingredients. Some store bought pizzas look and taste better than what was served there.
Service though was great, even they forgot to make our starter fried calamari - which we enjoy was a dessert.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing from the service to the food and the hostess was so amazing and friendly.
Great place. You could tell the food was fresh. Lasagna was great! Eggplant Parm rivaled Italy itself. Enjoy!
Great Staf. Authentic food. Parking is actually not bad if you don’t mind driving a couple of turns.
The bathrooms are so dirty. The food is okay nothing special. If you want great food go to Angelina's in Irvine or Bottega Angelina in Laguna Niguel CA
The place is nice decorated and the stuff really friendly. But the food is disappointing. We had a pasta (great portion) with burned chicken and peppers & a small pizza neither Italian nor American style.
Didn't care for my meatball sandwich much but the pasta salad that came with it was excellent but I will return to try some pasta in future if I'm in the area
Delicious food! I love that they have an option for a small or large portion. Even the small portion is rather large! I'm sure this place will become a restaurant that we visit regularly.
Excellent service! Friendly staff! Delicious food! Who could ask for anything more?
The spaghetti was so delicious! And the portion was so big, I had enough left over for my lunch at work for the next 2 days!
Great experience! You should definitely go if you're in the area!

Ask for the Baked Ziti with sausage (picture)! It's SO GOOD!
We had VERY good service tonight! Everyone was great!
This place was so good! We had just got off a boat ride and came down to walk around and get lunch. We walked up and down a few times and ended up here. Best decision we could have made! Mozzarella sticks were amazing. The raspberry salad was to die for and my husband loved his jambalaya pasta. Don't hesitate to go here just do it. So good
