Cicciotti's Trattoria Italiana & Seafood reviews
21Fantastic attention. The servers took our photos for us. They split our meal for us because we are light eaters. There was no judgment for us using our coupon. They gave complimentary desert to my daughter for her birthday. Wonderful place. The food was beautifully plated with a flower on the side. Loved our outing. Lobster pasta mmmm
Every part of the meal was fresh and delicious. This is now our Favorite Italian restaurant in Carlsbad.
I really enjoyed the food here, we had fettuccine Alfredo and a calzone both were freshly made and delicious, the wait team (Nick/Victor) were spot on. I would definitely come back.
The overall experience was amazing. My husband had the pepperoni cazone and was in love. I had the spaghetti polomero fresco. Probably the best pasta, I had from any restaurant so far. My daughter loved her kids spaghetti. This will be our go to spot when we visit Carlsbad. The service was amazing the staff was very attentive and had great suggestions.
Service is slow. Make sure you're not starving when you get in this restaurant. I normally rate the quality of the bread in regards to the food. When the bread is good, the food is good. Not at this place. The bread is tasteless and cold. Italian table serves crusty, loafy, and hot bread. I ordered lasagna, which is my favorite. I was so disappointed. There was nothing recommendable about this dish. The tomato sauce is raw. It's sour, no flavor. My husband ordered something we don't remember. There was nothing memorable about what the dish was. We came to this place just to check out the food. We we're seated by the window, and the tiny bugs kept us entertained and yaky at the same time. Nope. I'm not going back. I will stick to my oldest Italian restaurant on State St.
Just meh. Service was pretty good. Food. Well the saying "you get what you pay for" doesn't apply here. You pay and it's not grea.
This place is amazing. Ended up here by mistake but had the best time. There’s a Napolitan server and probably manager or owner and he’s a legend lol. If you been to Napoli you’ll appreciate this guy even more. Food was extremely well. Saving the spot for next time we visit here
What an amazing experience this was! They treated our family of 4 with 2 young kids amazingly! We got several dishes to try and I about died and went to heaven with their Alfredo sauce. It was so enjoyable we went back 2 days later as we ended our trip. This will be a repeat visit whenever we visit Carlsbad!
Such a stressful experience here. First of all, I ordered the surf n turf, it was terrible. My kids $10 pizza was better, so go with the basics here. Secondly, wasn’t please with management, our server Luigi made several mistake during our visit here, and then accused us of not leaving him a tip even though a 20% gratuity was very clearly included in our bills. We had to argue with him for well over 15 minutes before we just got so frustrated we left. We decided we didn’t feel right about the whole thing, so we went back and the server told us right away that we were right all along. We were out for a birthday and the whole experience was not what we hoped for.
Poor quality of cooking; could do better at home; nothing to excite you about their meal or appetizer.
Came here for a birthday celebration. THE STAFF IS VERY POLITE VERY ATTENTIVE.that was my biggest observation. The food was decent Italian dinning but I was expecting more flavor. The menu was very extensive & a bit dirty. The table was also dirty. It happens with restaurants with a lot of customers. The biggest highlight was when they realized it was my fiance birthday & they took it upon themselves to bring a small canolli! It was very kind we will definitely be back to give other dishes a try!
Happy hour here is amazing. The meatballs are so good and the cocktails are solid. The bread is super soft like a cloud. All the food coming out of the kitchen smelled so good. This might be my new happy hour spot.
Best authentic Italian in North County. Large portions, great wine selections and cocktails. Friendly Staff.
Our first time at this location. Great experience. Pasta was homemade and fresh great sauces.
Good food.but the music during a Friday night dinner reservation at 6: 30
Interfered with a pleasant evening for conversation with friends celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Simply too loud.would be better suited to start at 8pm and serve a bit later.
It was loud, and like an open mic night.decent entertainment but certainly not dinner music supporting conversation. We literally had to attempt to over talk the loud music.
Too bad.we won't return will check first to see if there will be music.
Very delicious, friendly and attentive service. Bread was fresh and amazing. Highly recommend the calzone!
Luigi was our server and was fabulous. The food was fantastic and the four of us enjoyed our drinks and dinner very much. We will be back.
This review is for customer serivce only. They do not answer the phone and only refer you to their reservations booking site. So you can't ask any questions about dining beforehand. We wanted to also call to cancel our reservation but no way to do that either. So it will just look like we did not show up!
Not enough servers.
Took too long to get drinks.
One out of three was done poorly, sent back. Settled for $15 1/2 glass
of house wine. One plate of food had missing key ingredients. Sent back after waiting 15 mins more. Food for five did not come at same time.
Another plate was finally served after four others were done. Portions were small for the money. We're attracted by a generous $90 coupon!
We went out of our way for an experience we'll never do again for the high price paid even with the coupon!
Other than NOT ENOUGH STAFF FOR SERVICE, our party of 5 enjoyed the food.very pricey for just a pasta dish, no salad included.
