Clean, well organized, great popcorn, comfy seats, the movie experience at its best. I never liked being in a wall to wall packed theater anyway, so keeping the covid distancing rules - and they do - works perfectly for me. Great job Cinemark!

I cannot stop raving about this new theatre in Downey. It's so clean and staff remembers regulars. I always feel welcomed, even when I'm complaining about my seat not being plugged in lol

At a screening re homelessness of Home For Good organization. They are actually having a panel discussion with united way. This was a great experience to engage with ppl who are addressing the issue of people on the street.

The Cinemark Downey and XD is a great place to go for a unique show experience. From Disney sing-alongs to interactive screenings of old movies, the feeling of community in this beautiful old building makes seeing even something you've watched a hundred times feel few and fresh again.

This theater was very enchanting place to see a classic movie. Got a chance to see Singing in the rain here for the first time with a friend and was not disappointed. Before the movie starts you are entertain by a gentleman playing an organ that mesmerizes you before the main event. Only complaint would be that they take cards when you purchase a ticket but don't when you are inside to buy popcorn and drinks: (anyways that didn't ruin the night and I'm looking forward to seeing another classic here in the near future.

We just finished watching Aquaman for our Christmas Family Matinee Movie. This place is the best, we always come here and decided to make it a tradition every year. Kudos to Cinemark Downey and awesome staff

The recliner seats are so comfy and are adjustable to your liking. Has a cafe and a bar and is located near lots of places to shop.

Always love coming here. Clean, great employees and food. Beer and Starbucks always a plus. But the concession area an line seems a little unorthodox and inconvenient because of the layout. But the movie experience is always way above par

Convenient, being just up the street. Very clean, you can purchase beer, wine, and Starbucks here. Purchased a membership for 1 free movie per month, addl' tickets & concession discounts, and most importantly waived online fees.

Right by my house i love this place! Except for the Starbucks inside alot of the times their machine doesn't work so u Can't have a Hot Coffee.

Great place to watch movies. Reclining lounge size seats are the best way to watch movies. Always clean & has a great concession stand.

Love the chairs, menu, and sound system. However, I EXTREMELY disappointed to find that this Company seems to refuse to show more historically and modern day relevant films, such as: On The Basis of Sex, Colette, , and the RGB Documentary. Makes me wonder if perhaps CINEMARK presumes that, Downey residents are a bunch of uncultured or educated enough to be able to appreciate such works?

I go there all the time and it's a shopping center with food, Walmart and department stores as well as the movie theater where I went today. Unlike some other Cinemark theaters, this one serves beer, has video games and power reclining chairs.

Great reclining seats, available adult drinks, run very well, good staff. This place has made going to the movies fun again.

I love this theater, the seats are super comfortable, the staff is friendly and really make me feel like I have to comeback every weekend.

Shame they got ride of the 4 self-serve kiosks for just a single. Waited nearly 10m for people in the long line for self service to, just then, decide what movie they wanted and or where they wanted to sit. If we could maybe have a kiosk which is Just for picking-up tickets, that would be great.

Movies are always great especially when its $6 Tuesday night with a beer stand and reclining seats its a great date night place!

Love viewing movies here. Seating comfortable and never do I have to worry about someone obstructing my view.
