Cinta Aveda Institute, San Jose CA

On Friday (11/17) I had my first facial done at Cinta Aveda Institute San Jose location. Upon my arrival I was greeted with a warm smile from the Esthetician (Juanita) who performed the service. The ambiance in the room was soothing with soft music playing in the background. Juanita’s gentle touch and explanation of each application that was applied to my face showed professionalism and extreme care about the services that she provided. I felt relaxed and comfortable, the time past quickly. Afterwards my face felt smooth and light. If you are in need of a complete facial and you want an amazing experience, I highly recommend Juanita.

Eva was incredible, she knew exactly how to cut my hair from a photo I had of my last cut in Italy. I loved her work even more! She made me beautiful and I felt like a new woman. This place is absolutely excellent: facials, brows, hair coloring they do it all, and the price is exceptionally low for the high quality you get. Don’t miss it!

Came in on Wednesday after work for my appt (made it online easily). My stylist Niya was waiting at the front for me and took me back to the chair right away. Asked what I was looking for and then we did a wash.

Niya was thorough and careful in her technique, checking with the instructor throughout.

The haircut itself is absolutely five stars! Maybe one of the best I’ve had. I have wavy/curly hair and want to be low maintenance when it comes to wash and go. Just did the first at home wash and my curls have SO MUCH volume and I air dried! Exactly what I have been looking for - thank you soooo much!

Very cheap too $22 for cut and style. Only downside is it took two hours but that comes with the territory of a teaching salon/school.

Disaster. Don't know about how good their haircuts are because I never got one. I first set my haircut for a Friday, and then they texted the day before saying they were sorry and the school is closed Fridays and they needed to reschedule. I reset for today, and yesterday got a text reminder to which I responded I'd be there. Today I drove from Burlingame to San Jose arriving just a bit before my appointment time, only to be told that they had no record of my appointment and they couldn't take me today because "the student wasn't coming in" and there was nobody to cut my hair. Incredibly unprofessional and poorly managed. Do not come here.

Great deal! Cheap haircut for you, real life training for students, with supervision - never had a bad cut here. Keep in mind it may take longer because the stylist is a student, but worth the extra time if you've got it.
