Seafood Restaurant Cioppino's reviews
16We were surprised to find place open on Christmas day. Place was open and we were seated within minutes. Menu was elaborate and good choices for kids. Kids menu pizza was good size. Other food portions were also good. Our server was also kind and prompt. Overall a good place
We shared the penne with meatballs and the combination pizza, both were awesome! The staff was wonderful! When we come back to SF, we will return! Also worth mentioning is that they DON’T ask you to leave after you finish your meal! Had a wonderful time!
I booked a table in honor of my birthday. The food was delicious, but at the end of our celebration the waiter brought a piece of tiramisu with a candle and said happy birthday and quickly left. The funny thing is that I didn’t order dessert and the restaurant included this tiramisu on my bill. I was shocked and I didn’t understand such a joke from the establishment Lol
Fresh seafood prepared with care and attention to detail. Portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. Service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Not a tourist joint. I am a local, and I I enjoy lunch there frequently.
Quiet during off season. Chioppino was decent, but I've had better cheaper elsewhere.
The food was so delicious. The service was good. I would definitely go back when I come back to San Francisco.
If I could give six stars, I would…! I took A party of 26 for an early dinner yesterday (a Saturday). We were quickly seated for our reservation and Mio, our waiter, was so attentive to our crowd.
The delicious food was served quickly and ever person ordered from the menu… individual entrees.
Such a perfect experience. We will go back every year and make this part of our family tradition.
Thank you Cioppinos!
We visited this restaurant on Thanksgiving day and luckily after a long walk only few places were opened that day, such a relief. Bring vegetarian i did not had much options left so ordered garlic fries, mozzarella bites and pasta. Garlic fries tasted more like fries with some garlic seasoning on top of few fries so couldn’t really recognize the difference. Pasta was more like a steamed version with some cheese on top of it. Apart from ok level food, the service and atmosphere was good.
Cioppino’s the name says it your in San Francisco you better try it it’s superb 100 plus years get it. Love Food, love life.
One of those touristy type of restaurants. Food was mediocre. Not to put them down or anything because they are a good place but I can make better pasta and meatballs from scratch. I feel the prices are too steep, especially for the quality of the food that I consumed. It came to about $50 a head and that's not including the tip. So in all I give it a three stars.
It was "okay" all the way around. Clam chowder was okay. Price was reasonable considering location.
Great place with a laid back vibe. The food was amazing. They are known for their cioppino and it didn't disappoint. One of it is enough for two if you also order an appetiser.
A decent bar/restaurant down on the front at Fisherman's Wharf. Grumpy bar staff but a very nice setting, maybe he was having a bad day. We didn't eat but the food looked very good.
Went there on Sunday it was busy and fleet week also was Italian heritage parade day. Staff were very busy food was good,
Seafood risotto wasn’t cooked. Carbonara taste bland. Seafood cioppino is just normal. Nothing fancy.
Ordered their signature ciopinno and was a let down hardly any clams and I had to pay 10 dollars extra for crab meat and the shrimp was iugh and no pasta for 65$
