Ciro's Ristorante & Pizzeria, Indio CA

Went there for lunch with some friends. First impression as I walked in the place is very clean. Their lunch menu is great and the price is reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Food was delicious!

There is mold building up on the walls from the storm, ceiling tiles look like they took in water and look like they are going to fall down.
Service was okay, the server didn't really know the menu, nor did he really check on the table.
This is not what we expected from a local staple.

It was my first time there. Got recommended by a friend. So I gave it a try. Walked in, and the girl that answered the phone didn't even acknowledge us, like we weren't there. Didn't know if we had to sit ourselves or wait to be seated. So we just stood there for about 5 minutes before we got acknowledged. Then we walk to our booth. And notice the chairs are ripped. And I thought about walking out right after that. But proceeded to stay. The place is really dark and outdated. The food was ok, the whole vibe in there was really off. I wouldn't recommend this place. 1-10 for me.

Hey, the pizza was ok. Toasted bread wasn’t fresh. And the soup was pretty good. Not amazing. But for a $10 pizza lunch combo w/ soup it was a pretty good experience.

Still one of my fav places to go to since I was a kid. Cant stop wont stop. Some things could be better (maybe the prices a bit) but even then what am I gonna do, go to olive garden for the millionth time for a plate of cheese, and a side of pasta…?

Love this place

LOVE this place. It's like a trip to the old Vegas type of atmosphere with the dark paint colors and booths, and the best music that you can actually hear. I'm so sick of walking into these places that seem like a morgue. This place plays the best music at just the right level: not too low and not too loud. Just perfect to create the right atmosphere. Very comfortable.
The food is excellent. Today, I had their lunch pepperoni pizza with a small house salad and garlic bread for $11.99. And fearing I wouldn't have enough, I ordered the lunch hot pastrami sub with a salad to take home for later for $10.99. Man-oh-man was each thing delicious! But it was so much food, I had 3/4 of the pizza and 1/2 of the sub left to take home for another meal. The waitress was so attentive and everyone there are so customer service oriented. It was a real pleasure and a treat to go there. Will definitely go back soon with the family.

The food was delicious as always. I had a turkey sub, also they offer it as a wrap. However, it is a lettuce wrap not a tortilla wrap, keep this mind because I had to ask for it to be made as a sandwich expecting a tortilla wrap. The server was very understanding and did so. The rest of my family had the large pepperoni pizza. They were very satisfied with the pizza and we all are happy with the restaurant going back and sticking to the original recipes. Our server was great but she was forgetful here and there and we had to repeatedly ask her for things we needed, which wasn't a deal breaker. It was on the warmer inside and humid, being the ac system was struggling to keep the older building cool during our hotter months. You may want to take your order to go if you don't do well with the warmer temperatures, surely this isn't an issue during winter and spring. The ceiling fan above us also was not working and they were more than willing to move us to a table that had access to a working fan, but we didn't want to bother with the fuss.

We got pizza and the meatballs delivered, it was very fast. The XL pizza was about 14-16" max. Still, very good food. One of the best pizzas around. I'd save Dave gives it a 7.8.

I went and picked up some food to go from Ciro’s tonight. The people who worked there were awesome, but the food sadly wasn’t.

Ordered lasagna, sautéed mushrooms and some raviolis along with and order of garlic bread. Threw it all in the trash except for the bread.

The lasagna tasted like last week’s tough and chewy chicken enchilada casserole, the mushrooms were like an unseasoned mushroom soup, and the raviolis had the taste and texture of a frozen food product.

Stick with the pizza, it’s pretty good here.

First time and will be back, solid spot. 2 lunch specials (11-3 daily) Friendly service, good value, good food. Had Manicotti and Minestrone Soup, partner had Chicken Scampi with Cream of Mushroom soup, all 4 items were good. What I liked was woman who brought food was different from our waiter but also offered to refill drink and or more bread, appreciated multiple employees “pitching in”

My lasagna was burnet. I was not about to drive all the way back. They know it's burnt.

Well was I ever disappointed in Ciero's!
I used to go there in the late early 200's.it was my parents favorite restaurant. A Sunday tradition w my kids and my parents. I went with my oldest son Damon on Saturday & it did not have that same spark it used to have. I felt like I was eating in a closed garage.very quiet & the waitress was nice, but that's about it. The food was very MEH. Pizza tasted like cardboard, and really small for the price. Sorry Ciero's,
Will just live with the great memories of the past.

Tried to call and make an order they had me on hold for 12 min and hung up. Horrible service. When somewhere else.

Lunch special has changed, very small portions and of course few dollars more (like everywhere) I brought this to the servers attention she said it's all the same size. My husband takes pictures of our experience when eating out so we had pictures of previous lunches. Salad is good and lasagna ok. Just very small for $10.95.won't be back.

This was the first time we've visited Ciro's Italian Restaurant, and we were pleased with the service, food, and ambiance. We tried several of their recommended dishes, and the one that stood out to us was the Lasagna. I have to say it was the best lasagna that I've had in a very long time. Next time we visit, we will have to try one of their famous pizzas, but as for this review, I suggest you give the lasagna a try, you won't be disappointed.

The pizza is amazing! We actually drove over an hour to come eat here. Definitely a favorite.

Stick to the pizza or pasta with red sauce. They do not know what marsala or piccata should taste like or make. Sorry to leave 3 star review
