Civic Feline Clinic, Walnut Creek CA

I love Civic Feline Clinic! Two years ago I found a 3 week old kitten and they were the only vet who would let me bring her in last minute to make sure she was okay. I ended up switching my older cat to them as well because of how kind, responsive, and thorough they are. I later found 3 more stray kittens and enrolled them at this vet too. All 5 of my children go here and they are just so amazing. They always remember me/them and are always so happy to see us - even the cats who freak out at the vet! I would drive from Fremont to Walnut Creek to take them to this vet because I refuse to go to anyone else. Do yourself and your kitties a favor and go to Civic Feline Clinic!

My experience with Civic Feline Clinic was very good. This visit was an annual visit for vaccinations and general exam. I was seen promptly when I arrived and the doctor and staff completed everything quickly. I have a very anxious cat and while she was nervous she was not as nervous as she was at my last vet. Unlike my last vet who wanted to do all sorts of procedures as 'preventative' measures (e.g. Worms, etc) on a healthy cat, this vet did what I felt was necessary given my cat's lifestyle. I highly recommend Civic Feline Clinic.

Our cat was boarded at Civic Feline for 8 days. I don’t think she wanted to leave. She looked great and was in good spirits when she got home. Special thanks to the staff at the Civic Feline Clinic!

The front office staff at Civic Feline Clinic was friendly and helpful. It made a stressful visit to the veterinarian a much better experience. Dr. Olsen and the team are just wonderful!

I board both my cats and get all their vet needs met here. The staff are all lovely and the service top-notch. They're patient with my skinny little scared girl who lashes out when she's taken out of her home. They always explain what treatments are available and let me make the final choice. I highly recommend them. They aren't cheap but you're paying for the best!

Civic Feline is the best place for cats, IMO. We've brought all or cats here for years. The staff is alway friendly and cheerful. I love being able to see Angela's face again! Dr. Rhymer is an excellent veterinarian - so empathetic and knowledgable.

Dr. Olsen discovered that our little one has crystals in her bladder, and she has helped us get on a new diet. We feel very fortunate that we caught it early on. The Clinic has been wonderful for our two kitties - we are so glad we found out about Civic Feline after we had adopted them.

We found an abandoned kitten in our backyard, and wanted to keep her, but we’re still feeling slightly nervous and overwhelmed. The doctor’s, bright, cheerful and enthusiastic presence was a breath of fresh air. She complimented our little kitty, explained two genetic mutations we’d noticed on her paws with clarity and humor, and reassured us that she was adorable and in perfect health. They also lent us a carrier so that I could get her home safely and said I could just return on next visit.

While the diagnosis for my 17 year old kitty was not pleasant, the veterinarian was kind, gentle and worked with me to proceed through the recommended tests, x-rays, and ultrasound one at a time to avoid unnecessary costs. The blood tests were all that was needed to diagnose my beautiful girl with end-stage kidney failure.

She was gentle and understanding when I asked if I could have the weekend with my girl and sent me home with tools to make my kitty comfortable. She also prepared me that she may pass during that weekend, which she did. I am grateful for their approach to testing so as not to up-sell me and the kindness and gentleness for the weekend that would be very difficult. My girl got pass in her own at her own time.

I have been taking my cats to the Civic Feline Clinic since it was actually located on Civic. My cats have always received the best care from the professional and caring staff.

An excellent clinic that actually understands cats and wants nothing more than their health and well-being. The way all vets should be (but sadly aren’t). On top of that, they don’t seem to have any desire to push anything on you that your pet doesn’t need, and their prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for the right care team for your cat in the East Bay, even if you’re not in Walnut Creek, I’d highly recommend this clinic.

We have been taking Scarlett there since she was born she is 5 now and happy and healthy thanks to the staff at Feline clinic.

I took my cat to the feline vet clinic because she wasn’t feeling well. They got me in quickly with a good price. I had brought my laptop to work thinking I would be waiting hours, but kitty was in and out in about half an hour. They did a great job and now my cat is feeling much better.

Quite simply THE BEST! We can't say enough good things about Civic Feline Clinic and all of the wonderful people who work here. The vets are thorough, kind, knowledgeable, and so loving to our kitty. The practice is run smoothly and efficiently and everyone really takes care to make it as stress-free as possible for the furry patients. We recommend this clinic wholeheartedly to anyone looking for excellent care for their feline family members!

Vet was really good with my shy kitty. Didn’t really get a diagnosis but received supportive care.

Had to wait cause previous appointment was late. (not vets fault)

It was expensive.

Excellent service, after horrific experience at the other clinic, it was just such a relief and pleasure to be taken care of by professionals with love! Thank you!
