If you are searching for an extremely skilled, specialized and kind physical therapist to help you navigate chronic pain, I whole-heartedly recommend seeing Maryam, the owner of Clearbody. She is absolutely incredible. I have been dismissed by many healthcare providers in the past, and Maryam treated me the opposite of how those providers did. She truly listens to me, and provides the space for me to share any of my concerns with her. Her treatments are centered around my goals, and it feels like I finally have someone on my team in reaching them.

I have struggled with chronic back, neck and hip pain. Not only were her hands-on treatments effective in alleviating my symptoms, but she actually explained to me what she was treating and why. She taught me about how my chronic pain has impacted my nervous system. She worked with me to treat not only my painful areas, but my nervous system, and really saw me as a whole person. Maryam helped me feel empowered able to take the gradual steps to reach my goals, like playing beach volleyball and swimming regularly. I used to feel very anxious about my pain to the point where I would obsess about it and it would be a driving factor of my day, but working with Maryam helped me understand why I had that anxiety, and helped me move through it. I never thought it would be possible, but I am finally at the point to where my pain isn't something I think about all the time. After years of seeing other doctors and physical therapists who didn't listen or couldn't help me, seeing Maryam has helped me get back to the sports I love so much. I can't recommend Maryam enough. I am so grateful to have found her!
