Cletus' Chicken Shack, North Hollywood CA

This is the worst fried chicken i ever had in my life (and also the most expensive) the biscuits and the mashed potatoes were good though. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont make the same mistake

Don't even bother with the grilled sandwich. It's just sad. Chocolate shake 4 out of 5.

Ordered the chicken sandwich, but got the tenders by mistake (should have kept but exchanged it for the sandwich.
The chicken was rubbery tough like it had been microwaved.

Others in our group had ordered the tenders, which were fine, but KFC is superior to Cletus Chicken Shack.

Find another place for a chicken sandwich

The chicken is fantastic and a must! Wondering when they will catch on that everyone throws away the corn because it's soggy and nasty every time! Change up the preparation

There are better options in universal studios for food. While the quantity of food for the price is decent, the quality is not. I got the chicken waffle sandwich and the chicken was very tough and bland. The fries were also very plain tasting and needed more salt.

You can enjoy sweet waffles and chickens at the same time.

Nothing out of the world. Price is on the higher end (to be expected since this spot is inside the park). There's better food to be had within the park though. Wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have to.

We ordered 2 chicken burgers and they were unbeatable: chicken meat was not cooked at all. Not only disgusting but also super unhealthy

It was raining hard when we were visiting, and there was a long line stretching outside the restaurant (FYI, it was 2.30 PM). The kitchen pushed food out in record time, though, so the bottleneck seemed to be on the number of cashiers (and they only had two out of four cashier stations manned). I felt bad for those volunteers who had to line up in the rain while their respective families took refuge.

We ordered fried chicken, which was a solid choice. The corn was on point, and the mashed potatoes were warm enough to get my core body temperature down after being out in the rain. The fried chicken reminded me of Mary Brown's, seasoned enough to have good flavours, but needing some ketchup and hot sauce to make it better.

But if you're a Simpson's fan, then you're in your elements. There are seats on the second floor, and if you are fortunate to sit near the TV, then you can watch some short clips while eating. Food price is higher, but you're paying for more than just a meal, but the experience of being part of the universe you only got to see on TV.

How is it possible to make chicken this bad? I mean it's all chicken on the farm. Chicken is chicken right? What happens after it leaves the farm to the shack? It's almost rubbery. Worst chicken ever. I work for a school district and not even the kids get chicken this horrible.

I ordered Cezar salat for 12,99$, but cashier sold me meal for 16,99$!
She change plate, but not price, told me it's fine. She can give me smthg for 4$ (drink for exampls), but she can't do it!
I feel like i was robbed.
Nobody recomend it.

This restaurant is located inside Universal Studios Hollywood California. Food is good here plenty of seating upstairs and downstairs.

Have experienced both the fried chicken plate and the tenders. While nothing special, it's above the average theme park food you get. A nice quickie through the day.

Please Please do not eat here the chicken is Terrible and made my family sick. Go somewhere else.

Chicken were tough and extremely dry. This just is a cash grab. Do not go here. Extremely overpriced.
