Emily is amazing! I've learned so much about how to communicate with my dog in a way that THEY understand. Huge!

Emily is nothing short of amazing. I am the Practice Manager at the local Animal Hospital and had recently had to remove my dog from our home due to a lack of training and behavioral issues (my fault). My dog thankfully went to my brother's home while our family tried to come up with a game plan for getting her what she needed, even if that meant rehoming her.
After many tears, I decided to give Emily a call and get her feedback on what one should do to determine if I was the best fit for my dog or if she may need someone different to be her person. I knew that training was the first step for both of us.
Emily kindly welcomed us in for a consultation. She watched Maggie's disposition and behaviors, chatted in detail with me regarding concerns and potential issues. Emily set realistic expectations for us. She came up with a game plan and invited back for training.
I was blown away by the way Emily could have Maggie respond the way she did so swiftly after our first training session. Emily's technique and reinforcement of traditional training was superb, walking me through the same instructions, detailed paper handouts, guidance, support and I was getting the same outcome while learning how to make Maggie comfortable. Could this be real? !
It was. It is. After several training appointments, one on one, I dedicated 1 hour a day to working with Maggie using these tools Emily had given us.
I'm relieved, proud, grateful, and pleased to report that Maggie is back home. Her disposition and manners are incredible, I love seeing her play and behave responsibly. We do daily training and mental stimulation as Maggie is a high energy dog, and she needs that. She now knows to lay down and stay when the toddler walks in. She no longer runs the fence line when passersbys are on the road, she maintains direct eye contact with me when the neighbor's dogs lose their mind, sitting in attention, waiting for me to reward her impeccable behavior. She's given, not only Maggie, but also our family an opportunity to enjoy our time together with our dog.
You have EVERYTHING to gain. Make the investment. Make the call. You will not regret it.

We only went to one session but our puppies really enjoyed the class. Emily is an awesome trainer and very down to earth and patient. We were also excited to learn she does agility training so hope to eventually participate in that.
