If you are looking for a ObGyn for your first pregnancy, dont come here. Si estan buscando una oficina para su cuidado prenatal para su primer embarazo no vengan aqui! First they do not give you an ultrasound picture, they will refer you out, which thats what I was told by another patient and when I asked one of the girls in the front she told me to go to a ultrasound center or try the ultrasounds at the malls. In my head I am thinking well thats the reason I am here so they can tell me about my baby, show me my baby and provide me with pictures of my baby. Why do I have to go to a place! Second the Dr is never in the office and you have to wait for her almost for 2-3hrs so if you have a job or other kids this is not the place to come to. The Dr never asks if you have any questions or informs you about anything, and I am sure is because since she gets to the office super late she doesnt have time for your visit, so she walks in checks you, check the baby heart and then tell you okay will see you next time. Third the Dr blurred out to me the gender of my baby without asking if i wanted to know or not! I was in shock cause my partner and I wanted to do a gender reveal so we wanted to be surprised so anyways, I asked for the report they received with the gender of my baby to show it to my partner and when i get home and we see it SHE SAID THE WRONG SEX OF MY BABY! I was soo upset and I cried cause how the hell you dont first verify you have the right chart in front of you and why dont you ask if the mom wants to know the baby's gender first! Fourth, why do I have to let the nurses know in this office when I needed an ultrasound, I am a patient, they should notify me and tell me when its my next ultrasound! I was over it, if i dont mention anything i would've gone without and ultrasound and what if my baby had something wrong all this time. Fifth, the Dr may or may not be the Dr that delivers you on your due date when I asked her thats what she told me. With that being said I am glad i switch to a different Office for my prenatal care, my OBGYN is totally different informative, attentive, just awesome and he will be the Dr that will deliver me in the hospital, and their staff amazing! So yeah you can switch offices if you dont like this Dr! Clinica Santa Isabel told me I couldn't come back I was like that sounds great to me. I wouldn't come back to Clinica Santa Isabel i wouldn't recommend anyone to come here, specially if you are a first time mom. We deserve much better, even if we are Medi-Cal patients.
