Had my wife's gun and one of my rifles cerakoted here. They did good work on both and turn around time was about 2-3 weeks. Overall I am happy with my experience at this shop and would recommend them if you're looking to cerakote your gun.

I had two pistol optics that I could not get off the slides, an RMR and SRO. I even broke a tool trying to get them off. Took the slides in to Clothey, no appointment, and within 45 minutes both optics were removed and replaced, new batteries, ready to go. Reasonable price as well. Thanks guys.

I got a punch stuck in my pistol and was in a full panic thinking I was gonna have to scrap it and get a new one. The fine people at Clothey and Sons got it out and fully functional again. Finished off the job I couldn't all at a super fair price. So if they can help me they can help you!

Clothey & Sons Gunsmithing are very professional and knowledgeable. I brought in a Beretta M9A1 to have shredded screws removed from the pistol grip. The screws and bushings were removed and replaced with factory ones within a couple of days. Price for cost and labor was very reasonable. I highly recommend.

Came in to get my S&W model 15 serviced and was assisted by Christian and Pat, both men were friendly and knew their stuff, got my S&W fixed up fast enough to pick up the next day, I cannot suggest Clothey and Sons enough for good, quick, and reasonably priced work from friendly people.

Did a trigger job on a series 80 colt 1911 that brought the pull down to a crisp 4 pounds. Fantastic difference. Almost too light for a defensive handgun. But I like it and recommend them highly. Very fair prices too!

I can not say enough good things about this place, especially David the manager. I am fairly new to the gun world and was hesitant to even ask questions or let on about how much I didn't know at other stores because of how I was treated by people who have been around guns their whole lives. I can honestly say that I felt very welcomed the minute I walked into their shop. No judgment and they got what I needed done in a more than reasonable amount of time. They also were very fair on their pricing considering how in demand their services are right now. David even took the time to show me what he was doing and what he had done and the differences the modifications made to the rifle. There was another gentleman in the shop working as well who offered me some helpful information as well although I am unsure of his name. I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends and family and appreciate the time David took with me educating me a little along the way. Thanks again.

I hate to post this, I do. David was a nice guy and I enjoyed talking with him. However, this was one of the most insane experiences I've ever had with a business. For starters, Clothey canceled on me last minute 5 different times when it was time to pick up my gun. Each time was a different excuse. Finally, I asked to please just give me my gun back whether the job was done or not. At that point they said it would be done immediately and I could come get it.

I went to pick it up and noticed the workmanship was pretty terrible. I was getting an LCI notch cut into a new barrel and it looked like they did it with a hacksaw. The notch is off center and about twice as long as it should be. And it just looks.awful. Friends grimace when I show it to them.

I ordered a new barrel for a different gunsmith to do the work, taking the total cost of getting a new barrel from $300 to $600. I asked Clothey for a refund for the work they did and they did not respond.

See the pictures (one of a proper cut done by a professional and one of the work Clothey did) and judge for yourself.

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. I went in to get some Truglo TFX tritium night sights on my CZ-75 compact and they had it back to me the same day. I was able to test them out that night and they work great. Excellent job by Clothey and Sons. Highly recommend you support this business if you’re in need of a quality gunsmith!

I had a set of Warren Tactical night sights put on my Glock 19 Gen 4 here. They were super busy when I brought them in at 1245 and they were done by 1600. Good thing I brought them in because they were super tight so some metal had to be shaved off of the rear mount. Definitely recommend.

Super knowledgeable staff. These guys know what they are doing! They helped me mount my red dot on a Springfield which are known to be pain in the buttocks, but nonetheless mounted and installed it within a couple of days. And they do way more than just that. If you have anything done to a gun whether pístele rifle or shotgun count on these guys!

Took a browning Citori stock in for repairs. The finished product is immaculate and you would never know that there was any damage at all. There was a huge gouge in the buttstock and now it looks good as new! They stuck to the quoted price and with the phenomenal wood-working skills, I will recommend to everyone I know and I will be back if I ever need work done again! Thank you!

I had a great experience here. I recently finished a build and I wanted to get it checked out by a professional to make sure it was safe as it was my first time dealing with this platform. He checked it out with his gauges and gave me some great advice, which I find priceless. Overall great experience, and I will be back for work on other firearms for sure.

These guys were able to install a very uncommon rail system on my M1A in about an hour or so. Definitely one of the best shops to service a firearm for what they charge. Very fair price, extremely friendly and they truly know what they're doing. If you need anything fixed or serviced I highly recommend them!

Service is great, very friendly, professional and knowledgeable, Fast turn around time and very fair pricing, did a few tweeks for free to make sure i get the most out of the firearm. Went into depth about the repair and what was done and why.fully explained what was wrong with the original part. The Work and new part is fully guaranteed, couldn't have asked for anything better!
