A wonderful vet who truly cares about your pets, and is not over priced. Will always recommend

Nobody wants to have to break down and take their pet to a vet.add in on a weekend when most vet offices are closed, and you'll see where I was today when I called Clovis Pet Hospital. They were beyond expectations. They got us right in as soon as we arrived as we drove over from Reedley. Every staff member was friendly, accommodating, and sympathetic to our situation. And the price wasn't even near as expensive as I had imagined it would be based on past experiences with other clinics where I'm from in the Monterey bay area. Thanks to everyone at Clovis Pet Hospital that Nova and I encountered earlier today at our visit. You really made a usually not so pleasant experience, pretty great for us and I'm happy to report that Nova is doing well and I'm blessed to have her on her way to healing up nicely thanks to you. We will see you on Tuesday morning for her follow up!

They took Chia, our chihuahua, in for an urgent eye care appointment and they were very kind. This place is large, clean and organized. They respected my care choices and I appreciate that!

We lost our sweet kittie Thackery Binx a couple of weeks ago. On top of being devastated, we were at a loss as to what to do with him. A backyard grave was impractical for several reasons, so we decided to have him cremated. Someone recommended Clovis Pet Hospital, so we gave them a call and brought in our poor, sweet boy. They handled everything from there. Two weeks later, we brought him home in a lovely urn. Then today we received a condolences card in the mail. It was signed by several people and was just so thoughtful! Thank you, guys; it meant a lot to us!

On the worst day of any pet owners life the staff and Dr.did everything they could to make the experience less painful.
On a very sad day I was grateful to have been at Clovis Pet Hospital.
Thank you all.

Unfortunately 0 stars is not an option. I have been using this vet for about 3 years and am dumbfounded by what transpired today. We have a puppy that received a Lepto vaccination here a month ago. The puppy had a reaction that was causing her hind leg to give out. The puppy got pain meds and the reaction cleared up within 24-48 hours. No blame is placed on the pet hospital for the reaction and the review is based on what happened today: The puppy is due for more flea and tick medication, so my wife called them to see if she could come get a refill. She was told not a problem come in to the office. Upon showing up she was informed that because of the reaction the puppy had to the Lepto vaccination they would no longer see her as a patient and that they wouldn’t refill her flea/tick medication, because it required a heart worm test. Which of course they wouldn’t do, because they no longer accept her as a patient. If you are searching for a pet hospital that is going to care for your animals, I highly suggest you look elsewhere.

I've been coming here with my dogs their whole life; I think at some point ownership changed, or some system switch? Not sure, but I really like this place currently more than I used to thanks to Dr. Dhillion and Ms. Shaamli (the receptionist). Dr. Dhillion is great; makes my pets feel comfortable and listens. They can get very anxious and he takes his time with them. The receptionist up front, Ms. Shaamli, also makes the process of making appointments, checking-in, filling prescriptions, etc.super easy and efficient.

Awesome staff and doctor. My dog started yelping randomly and we didn't know why, we took her here as a new patient and got her some antiinflammatories, she's acting like herself again. The doctor gave us several options on what we could do, but we just went with the medicine for now.

The front desk people have been top notch with me over the phone and in person. The techs were efficient and courteous today and good with my rescue dog. I got to meet Dr Gill (very cordial and gracious) and best of all my dog and I were there to be examined and treated by my "old" FAVORITE Veterinarian, Dr Stephen Fenster. Was wonderful seeing him again.

I had been coming to this vet office with Dr Fenster since the 90s. I moved away from the area and returned after 18 years, so when my animals needed care this is the first place I called.
Dr Fenster was not available so I saw Dr Gill, who I met for the first time when my cat was having stomach issues. He is wonderful with cats.
A few days ago I brought my dog in, who normally lives with my ex in So Cal. She is older and is blind but otherwise a healthy gal. She was shaking her head and scratching terribly at her ear as well as licking one of her paws. I believed she most likely had a foreign body that was the culprit for both. She however would not let me get near that ear or paw so I figured she needed to be sedated.
All of this happened and it was a fox tail and I think they took great care of her. My only issue is that their charges are very steep and I don't like the fact that they send an office staff member in with an ipad which lists a menu of charges which they want you to select or deselect.
When asked why a certain test needed to be done or what values the test included of course this person isn't going to be able to talk to me about it so for several questions it was out of the room to ask the doctor then back in the room to give me the answer. I'm not sure why the doctor doesn't come in and go over the charges, meds, procedures etc so that you can ask questions directly, discuss the necessity of charges, tests, procedures, meds, alternative meds that can be purchased over the counter etc. All said and done it was $250 for my cat and $900 for my dog. I understand everything has a cost but I believe they could help people find less costly alternatives or at least discuss options in person.
Again the care was great, the staff is great so I would not hesitate to bring an animal to this office.

I can’t say enough wonderful thing! I’m new to the area and Dr. Dillon just saw both of my cats this week and I can say I don’t want any other vet going forward besides him! The girls and nurses are incredibly helpful and nice as well
