Coachella Valley Imaging Open MRI, Palm Desert CA

Welcomed as we entered the waiting room. Secured paperwork in just a minute or so. The readiness of the staff to help me onto a table for the MRI was about four feet high. Me being in a wheelchair my associate and the staff to get me up and comfortable was impressive. The MRI, that would normally sound like your in the middle of a foundry with steam hammers, was not the case. Head phone style ear protectors was more than adequate to repel most of the mind numbing noise. The vibration is another thing. The vibration caused me to need to go the reading room after only a short while. Once the sound stopped for a moment I yelled out, “are we almost done? ” At that same moment the operator came imand said “all done! ” I was then a happy camper. I found the reading room and all was well! With that I verified that my Dr would get the copy and I didn’t have web involved. Done. O was thrilled and on my way home. Thank you to all the staff Coachella Imaging. I give them 5five stars. I would recommend them to all my friends.

One other thing the MRI machine was like a round disc above me. Very simple and easy for all of us that are tired of the tube style MRIs.

Very comfortable and easy to handle. I don't do well in closed spaces and this was very easy and manageable.

I was very apprehensive about going in for an MRI. I've had them previously done elsewhere in the valley and have backed out a few times due to extreme claustrophobia. I'm talking laying on the table being pulled into the machine and grab the sides yelling stop type panic.
When I walked in to Coachella Valley Imaging it was warm and inviting.
Valleli smiled and greeted me and was very sweet and reassuring when I expressed my hesitation.
Less than 5 minutes after arriving (I did pre-register online prior to my appointment) Iris greeted me with a smile, again reassuring me it would be fine.
Imagine my surprise when I saw this machine. Apparently I've been lied to about what an open MRI really is because this truly was.
You lay on the bed and it's like a satellite dish over you. Your head actually sticks out the top, you can see in all directions, no walls to confine you.
I actually kept closing my eyes like I was drifting off to sleep.
As apprehensive as I was this morning before my appointment Valleli and Iris both put me at ease and I left feeling great.
Thank you for such a great experience with a horrible procedure.
This was the Palm Desert location but they said there is also an open MRI at their Palm Springs location and LaQuinta has a special MRI for XLG people.
Give them a call to set up your appointments. I'll never go anywhere else.

Coachella Valley Imaging Open MRI on Fred Waring Drive Is Incredible! No Fear! No Claustrophobia! No big Tube to go in! Just lay on the table and relax! You will Love it!

I went to get an MRI, and the machine was too small for me to fit in but the workers were extremely kind and very caring, even had one of the workers drive and lead us to the nearest MRI building with a bigger sized machine, the test was quick considering and they took things carefully and accurate.i never expected this kindness and love towards me and my mom.these workers deserve my love and respect.was watched out for, much love to these people. God bless them all and continue to pass the love to others on each visit.

MRI technician was very helpful empathetic to my injury, helped me getting on the MRI and gently helped me up and off the machine. I didn’t get his name to share.

My appointment and MRI went off without any problems at all. The two ladies that helped were very pleasant and helpful.

The girls were very helpful and patient friendly. Went as far as to stand out front so I went to the right door. I would highly recommend using them to friends

Everything very good, especially the girl who did the MRI explained everything very well and did an excellent job.
