Branch Manager was uppity. I will say that the lady at the front desk was very professional. Karla refused to call me back. I understand the bad reviews.

Went in at 4: 00, the first person I seen told me to take a seat while the lady is ready for me, they had me waiting for a whole entire HOUR. DID NOT tell the person I had arrived and then told me I had to come back the next day because they are “closed” completely inconvenient and no communication with each other. Complete Waste of my time.

Coast Hills makes the lending process as easy and painless as possible. I keep going back to them whether it's a car loan or a HELOC because it's just a smoother process with genuine people wanting to help. Thank you, Coast Hills!

They're great! The branch manager was super helpful. She went out of her way to help me with the app! That's obviously way below her pay-grade and she still took the time to work with me on something as littles as that and followed up with me! That's customer service right there! Super friendly, very happy!

I need to do a transaction over the phone. So far I have been on hold waiting to speak with a representative for close to 40 minutes. I will not do any additional business with this institution. Poor customer service.

DO NOT BANK HERE. They essentially push everything to be online, and when you need to talk to someone on the phone it takes way too long - usually up to 45 minutes or an hour. Their website does not give full information, nor would it let me set up automatic payments - and when I called to attempt to figure it out, I wasn’t able to wait for over 30 minutes for a representative. Now I am getting my car refinanced so I won’t have to bank with them, even that was complicated - would not list the correct mailing address anywhere, had to go in person to get any information. Never again.

I am with Golden one credit union but I'm I use Coast Hills in Nipomo, for there is no Golden One, they are so nice and the inside is so pretty.

Absolutely terrible. So sad. This bank use to be one one of the best. WHAT HAPPENED!

Automated answer system is worse than the DMV. Never felt like I’ve so much time wasted. Absolutely the worst!

Getting to big definitely not the same bank. Customer service is no different than any of the Mega banks. So so sad.

Rude employees, horrible services. I went in there the other day and the lady at the front desk was awful to me. I prefer doing my business in person and not over a screen with a phone hundreds of people use on my face. She was so mad that I wanted to talk to someone just to cash a check. If you need a functional credit union please do not use this mess. Everything takes FOREVER to process and they charge random fees on your accounts. Do not put your livelihood here

The Worse! Credit unions serve wonderful service in car loans etc. This one just really bad,
online account access is deplorable, I use three banks this worse impossible pay credit card bills, check balances, as other reviews state if you than call for assistance you go through maze bad service, credit cards managed by third party company that horrible. It’s not my job frequent answer? Only saving grace
Local branch managers onsite staff great. Unfortunately they let down by senior management and lack organizations. I have credit card with high limit and used for my business and created a lot points
200 k, they are useless, Coast uses very limited poorly run system makes it impossible to redeem for travel and merchandise dollar store quality. I’ve withdrawn my six figure account, kept credit card but nightmare to pay bill so only use it last resort. Too bad credit unions great, this one isn’t, much better go to local bank.any bank.

Just went to the SLO branch. Worst experience i have ever had in a banking institution. To make a deposit, i was told to use what was essentially an ATM and a vacuum tube.like a drive through.inside the branch. No tellers.

In the time it was explained, i could have made the deposit. The women was smug, and seemed bothered that a human had entered the branch. I will never set foot in there again. Thank goodness the Paso branch still is willing to talk to and help humans.

Still, based on the attitude and process in the “flagship” SLO office, it appears to be time to move on. You have been warned.if shopping for small town local service, cross this mess off your list.
