CoastView Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care

I'm absolutely thrilled with how well our first visit went today! It is so difficult to find a clinic that is adequately prepared to set an anxious dog up for success, truly listens to concerns, and offers multiple options to move forward with exploring concerns that other vets have brushed off. We're especially grateful for Leanne's kindness and ability to recognize and respect body language. Prices are comparable to other clinics in the area, and they had availability within a week. My sweet boy enjoyed trying spray cheese for the first time:)

Thanks to Dr. Junco reaching out to see if the ultrasound tech who happened to be there that day could also examine Jax, we were able to pinpoint his issue and move forward with treatment! I really appreciate your team and the care they've developed for Jax.

I love, love, LOVE CoastView Vet. We recently moved to San Diego from out of state and I needed to find a vet for my dog. I've always been nervous bringing my dog to the vet because he can be a little aggressive towards other dogs. I love that CoastView goes the extra mile to ensure there are no other dogs in the lobby when I bring my dog in. The vets and techs also treat my dog with care and compassion. I can't say enough great things about CoastView and would recommend them to any pet parent.

We are so grateful we found CoastView and they have helped us tremendously with our rescue dog Baloo! It was impossible prior to finding Coastview to take him to the vet, he was terrified and reactive which can be scary for all involved.
Luckily we had CoastView work out some anti-anxiety and sedative medication that made a huge difference in bringing him in for his yearly check up and required shots.

Furthermore, we undertook an overseas move to Europe in early December of 2022 and we literally could not have done it without Janel's help. She is an expert at navigating the maze of USDA and European pet travel requirements and we will be forever grateful for all she did in getting us successfully relocated.
Dr. Tyler Junco was also amazing in getting Baloo what he needed and as part of the process.

Coastview has blown me away. They focus on ensuring our fur babies are comfortable, care about their anxiety, and really have the heart for more “difficult” patients. I have struggled finding vets that will take on my dog due to his extreme fear anxiety, but the staff has really gone above and beyond to ensure Murphy has the best possible experience in their facility. I am so thankful for CoastView and recommend them to anybody who is looking for a vet, or specifically trying to find one for their anxious pets.

Had my first visit with Dr. Junco with my 6 month old pup. So caring and gentle. My pup was very comfortable and not anxious. Also had a follow up call from the office, asking how my puppy was doing. Loved the way we were treated.

I found coastview on a recommendation from a neighbor. Our vet, who owned the hospital had recently sold to a corporation and it showed in the care that our beloved dog received. Dr. Shultz is amazing, attentive, and listens so well.

CoastView is amazing! Every staff member was skilled, excellent, and kind. I have a very strong, reactive dog. He's never been touched at the vet before—besides shots which took three technicians. We've not been able to get a strong enough dosage to sedate him for vet visits. It's scary for everyone.

On his first visit to CoastView, they were able to touch his belly and check his vital signs. It took a long time, but they were so patient and committed! His trust and confidence in them was unbelievable. I am so grateful for their excellent care and compassionate approach. Thank you!

Dr. Laura Schultz and staff are wonderful. Our pets like coming to the veterinarian and the Fear Free hospital environment. Everyone is knowledgeable, kind, and they practice outstanding medicine.
