Cocina Del Charro reviews
18Lovely place to go. I usually get the steak del charro and the tostada salad. Can’t beat their margaritas either. Highly recommend the patio on a warm summer day.
Great service. Food prepared as ordered. I had the Burrito Diablo. The pork was moist and the rice and beans were a great compliment.
Great food, loved it. The Cochinita Pibil was very authentic and tasty, not spicy at all. The venue looks like it needs a little TLC remodeling but otherwise great experience.
Great service, lots of tables, seated within 15 minutes! Everything we ordered from the chips and salsa to the huge burrito and the carnitas plate was absolutely delicious!
This being a big Restaurant you will find a little bit of everything from good customer service to so, so to bad, but overall is decent. Their food can use a little bit more flavor whether is meat, chicken or seafood. Waiters are really good. We will go back specially to listen to the live music with Enrique and Jimmy they are the BEST. As long as they keep playing we'll be coming back.
If you have not been here for Sunday brunch buffet.you MUST give it a try.endless awesome choices. Every choice is great. And they are happy to see you. The staff is awesome.
We went for lunch and sat on the side back patio. Nice shade. Our server was good but she was slammed during lunch on Saturday. It did take a bit to get drinks and refills and order came out wrong which wasn't her fault. I recommend if you want medium steak ask for medium rare because it's almost always over cooked.
The food is seasoned well and looks delish plated. This is only of the only places I know which makes ground beef enchiladas. I grew up eating them that way and is always a fav of mine!
Chips and Salsa is always tasty!
Affordable good Mexican food. Nicer inside than the Escondido location. Good enchiladas. Wish they had black beans. Margaritas good but pricey. Very nice server. They have Sunday brunch buffet I want to try.
Man, you know it's good when I forget to take a picture.:) it was so yummy. I had the #2 Combo. 2 enchiladas and rice and beans. Great service, as always.
Great design and decorations inside and outside. Food was good. Margarita flight is a must. Highly recommended for large families.
Really good food and service. Our waiter Kyle was super attentive and caring. He provided great information about the food making the overall experience a good one!
Easily above 5 star rating! If we lived there we would go all the time. The food is to die for! The service is spot on and so accommodating. They ran out of an item after we had ordered it, not only did they offer their shrimp dish that was fantastic, it was on the house, wow, what hospitality. On top of the perfect dinner, we were treated with a scrumptious ice cream tostada type dish that the kids devoured. Thank you so much! #1 place in that area.
The fajitas are incredibly tasty. Their Cadillac margaritas are absolutely delicious, which is very rare in most restaurants.
That place is pretty decent looking and the food was okay as far as looking but it was not a huge menu they claim it's about $30 to eat there on Sunday because it is a brunch and I cannot comment about the food because I decided not to eat the line was so long it reminded me of my first military school when I was waiting for my food standing in line forever so I chose not to eat otherwise the place was kind of chaotic but I guess some people like that and I think we had a slight problem getting service on the table because there wasn't enough servers so that would be Management's fault not the servers the only reason I was there it was someone's birthday Unfortunately they did not even recognize the person's birthday by singing them or giving them a small ice cream or anything like that so I thought that was tasteless but it's obviously some people like the place because they waited in line and they ate and they drank alcohol and I'm assuming enjoyed each other but it's definitely not my place to go specially on Sunday if you decide to go I hope everything works out for you
We took our family of 12 if which 2 were my wife and my son's wife. Rest were our boy's 18 year up to 36. My experience here, 1st time and last time, was not good. The waiters actually made attempts to pick up on them, touching them and cooks making crude jokes, "I'm going to spank you". This was a disgusting experience.
As far as the food goes, this Mexican restaurant doesn't serve Orchatas, only on Saturdays?
If you really want to eat really good Mexican food, visit Colimas.in mission bay. Rates really ZERO.
We had patio seating which was lovely. We were there on a Tuesday and there were no Taco Tuesday deals? The Cadillac margarita was fine but nothing to go back for. Overall, the food was good, but not fabulous.
Food was amazing the Thursday special for lunch, was mol~e, which was unbelievable.so delicuous.and they have the cutiest tequila margaritas sampler that is a must! Definetly will go there again!
It is my daughter's and my favorite spot for Mexican food in North county, so I took her for her Birhtday. We had Delicious authentic Mexican food, great ambiance and great service too! We definitely will be back!
