I don't know if because we are an induvial and not an actual class purchasing the bot we received such poor customer service or if this is just how CodeRev/Creator Bots handles business.
1. We initially purchased our Mini bot in Nov.and didn't receive ANY communication regarding shipping until after I reached out via chat through their website (which does not work or as soon as you begin to message immediately says no one is online and prompts you to email - and I'm still waiting on response to that email), I FINALLY was able to chat and the "Evan" let me know it would ship early that next week and would in fact be in for Christmas. Well, the next week came and passed and I still had received no shipping communications. So, I once again tried to reach out regarding my order as we were now WAY outside the shipping window as stated on their site. This time I used the messaging button here on Facebook and someone actually replied in a 'sorta' timely manner and they let me know that the shipping department was wrong and the bot would not arrive for another week. The bot did arrive the Wednesday after Christmas. Poorly packaged - free floating box inside another larger box that wasn't taped completely.
2. The bot we received was not what we order. (Minibot was ordered, MegaBot was received). So while it seems like "oh yay I got the more expensive product" The MiniBot was ordered specifically for the ability to use the block coding for my son with Dyslexia. I reached out once again here on Facebook to let them know of the mistake and that the bot we did receive was missing parts, I was then emailed by Luis to help resolve the issues and he did a wonderful job of expediting the shipping (seeing as how it originally it took 7 weeks) for the CORRECT bot with a few additional pieces to make up for the mistakes.
3. As stated on the website it says "each lesson" has video lessons. Well, only "Chapter One" and part of "Chapter Two" actually have any video instruction. This was a major purchasing decision for us, as previously mentioned our son has dyslexia and this would have allowed him to work independently on lessons and now he has to have someone sit and help him.
4. This company seems shady. They have 3 different addresses associated with their name. One a residential neighborhood, one an apartment building and one their apparent class building in a shopping center.
All in all I will not recommend this company to ANYONE in the future. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for as this bot was an affordable option but our main purchasing factor was the curriculum (video lessons) and that was wildly over sold.

We went as a group.
Very inspiring, well organized and delightful staff that work well with kids of all ages. Definitely recommend!

I booked online classes for my kids (ages 8 and 11) on Activity Hero first in 2021, and since then they both look forward to their class every week. I'm impressed by the teachers and how they connect with the kids in class to keep them excited and learning.

My kids love the instructors here. Very fun camps and online classes. Both my kids can code on their own now!

The team here is great. My daughter went to a short summer camp, and the experience really sparked an interest in computers. Highly recommend it.

Updated 8/14/22:
No refund given after we cancelled because the class that we signed up for was postponed/became not available. Had to follow up with my credit card company. The company can be improved if they are more organized. Wouldn't try again.

Had some communication issues that Evan was able to proactively resolved. Will update after we get a chance to trial the class.

Compare to the quality they provided, the camp is not worth it at all! We have three parents registered this camp together and we all shared the same feeling we had the very dissatisfying camp experience here. 1. The unfair pricing system. Early birds pay more fees than the Late Gators. We surprisingly found out three of us paid different amount for the same camp. Two early registrants paid $691/each (plus tax) while the latter one did $70 less. They did refund us the difference after we requested. However, we don’t think most of the parents will have chance to find out the different price CodeRev charges for different kids. 2. Very unprofessional operation. It seems like they temporarily rent a room behind the front desk of a building. The sign and everything look temporary. All the kids have to stay in a same room to do all their stuffs. And the teacher is not ready until the substitute works till the third day. 3. Mixing 6 grader with kids from much younger category in the same group. Feel sorry for my daughter she had to waste lots of time waiting for the much younger kids to catch up. Seemed they had two teachers working in the room. However, my kids told me sometimes the teacher was not sufficient to take care of all the kids and my daughter didn’t get enough instructions as the teacher was too occupied and busy with younger kids and multiple programs. 4. One of my friends complained the 30 mins recess is too long. 5. What kids learned doesn't match what they showed In the promo video. My son registered the Rev Robot because he thought he would be introduced how to use remote controller to control the robot as showed in the promo video. Unfortunately, by the end of the camp, he was told we had to pay for one more week to start the part of the remote controlling and they were not old enough to be instructed the content yet. My son was so disappointed as he didn’t feel he learned as it showed in the video.

I shared my feedback on the first and second day to the owner, Evan and requested for the improvement or the refund. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any improvement and he was not responsive except the substitute called with no solution.

Anyway, I am writing this review on behalf of three moms who had dissatisfying experience with this camp. I feel bad for them as I recommended this one to them and persuaded them to join when they felt it was too pricy.

If you have higher expectation for the camp at $691/ week, none of us recommend this one to you. We have been working with lots of camps before and we know how the professional one works. Obviously, CodeRev is not the one.

Really bad customer service. Their phone number does not work so you cant call them. All communication is through email and online request forms which they do not respond to immediately. Very unprofessional company, consistently cancelling classes and forcing you into another one at the last minute. Not worth the hassle. I do not recommend.

Signed up my 8 year old for a virtual Minecraft coding camp. Coach Mike was great with the kids. My son had a great time, learned a lot and now using commands all the time. He wants to sign up for another week!
