6Was passing through San Mateo on a bike trip and a huge nail tore a gash in my wife’s bike tire. The guys at Cognition Cyclery got us fixed up. Very thankful for their help.
Took my Specialized ebike (Vado 4.0) in for maintenance last week. Software update, everything checked and renewed were needed. Brakepads were changed and put to the test today. Great stopping power and quickly back at 25 mph.
(goose and myself did not get hurt)
Brought my Tarmac to replace rusted headset bearings. They didn’t tighten my handlebar (outright dangerous) as well as thru axles (wasted me a few hours to debug creaking). I would not trust this place to touch my bikes again.
Awesome shop! Employees are super knowledgable patient and trustworthy. Helped me buy a new stumpjumper evo. Also might have set the world record for fastest tubeless set up.
Took my bike in for service. Corey at service was patient, knowledgeable, and skilled. Also, final cost was exactly as estimated.
I stopped in with a broken shifter a few people had told me was irreparable. Not only was it fixed, but I wasn't even charged for the labor. I'll definitely come back.
