Took the girls out for Blimpies sandwiches and ice cream, all of it was Great! Especially the ice cream, staff was very friendly and attentive to everything. This is a must visit if you truly love ice cream!

Asked the girl just now to add a scoop of mint in my coffee lovers. As I walked over to the register I noticed she did not add the scoop of mint. I reminded her she quickly copped an attitude and ugh do you want a scoop or half in the mix. I responded just one scoop and throws the remaining batter of ice cream away with an attitude. I have been coming here for years and have never been treated this poorly. Time to find a new place.

This is the best ice cream in LA. This is the best ice cream maybe anywhere. We split a trio of cookies and cream, saffron pistachio, and herb snow (yes you read that correctly). Definitely take advantage of their taster policy and sample. Such unique flavors, great owner, funky little strip mall - it's simply the best.

THIS PLACE IS MOCHI HEAVEN. Tried the Oreo mochilato (gelato stuffed mochi), mango and green tea mochi ice cream and they were all so yummy! This place is the same company that sells the 6pk mochi ice cream you see at the groceries.

SERVICE THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL UNIMPORTANT

Pet peeve: Taking/filling a phone/computer order when a customer has been waiting for 5 minutes+. Came in on a warm Sunday aft. Once another couple had been served, the person behind the counter told me that she had several online orders that she had to make before helping me. OK. More waiting. When finally my turn, it gets really rude! As I customized my order (B/C of a coconut allergy), the young woman sighs, like I‘m giving extra work instead of reducing her load. Isn’t this what this place does? Tailor ice cream to the customer preference? It’s not my fault that staffing wasn’t organized properly to handle weekend volume. Instead of projecting onto me, she should take that up with her boss. And learn some courtesy. When pointing out there were no utensils to eat with, she practically threw the spoons at me. Who does that? Will be finding a new ice cream place soon.

This Cold Stone location charges 40% more for its cakes than other Cold Stone locations. I went to the El Segundo location looking for two 8x12 rectangular ice cream cakes for my son’s birthday. They only had one (Oreo cookie). I was charged $64.99 for the cake. Then, I went to the Inglewood location (10 minutes down the road) and purchased the exact same cake - size, flavor, and birthday message - and was only charged $45.99. I returned back to the El Segundo location to inquire about the price difference. I was advised the locations have the liberty of setting their own prices and refused to refund me the difference between the two cakes.

The benefit of franchises is that you can count on the same product and quality. I also expected consistency in the pricing. I think it’s appalling that the El Segundo owner is so unapologetically markIng up its prices for El Segundo families.

Consider the extra ten minute drive to save 40%+ on your next cake. The Inglewood store is clean and friendly and priced w/ the average consumer in mind!
