Cold Stone Creamery, South Lake Tahoe CA

Usually, I don't write bad comments, but this time, it was so bad. We stood in line for 30 minutes to get an ice cream, line was till the door even farther, and only one worker, I felt bad for the guy. The other family that was with us left the line cause it got to 40 minutes wait for them. The manager in this place needs to pay attention to this, it was Saturday and only one worker? THIS PLACE DEFINITELY NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT

One person working the front on a holiday weekend. Ice cream was good but it took 45 minutes.

$40 for 3 small ice creams. Holy moly. Never again. The kid working there was sweet enough. He worked quickly and someone cross contaminated the food. Good thing no one had a peanut allergy. Oh wait, yes we do. I don't love paying a lot to get sick

Expensive as hell, but excellent service. Honestly, the service really seals the deal. Without it, this place is an absolute rip-off. That said, it's Heavenly Village, so everything is the jack lol

Failed to get a hot chocolate (on the menu and advertised) 2 years in a row after waiting in line

Ronnie was so great! He had a very positive attitude while it was busy. He definitely made it a experience for us. The customer service he provided was great. Thank you by Ronnie!

Sooooo yummy! Pretty the guy who made my ice cream threw some extra brownie in there too. Nice spot in the village and always good ice cream.

Disappointing after standing in a long line. The guy was just bent upon upselling on the sizes, and people were falling for it.

Very bad service One star review the lady made it look like it was a chore that she was making her ice cream was not helpful at all was the worst experience I’ve ever had any cold stone she actually came out outside after and started smoking a cigarette in front of the store

The ice cream is delicious. They were extremely busy but the line moved fast and the service was great. Almost didn’t go because of so many bad reviews but I am so glad we did.

Decent Ice cream and prices.
I give cleanliness of this store a ZERO.
When you walk in you will notice how filthy the floors are, Floor mats dirty, and windows all smeared.

Stop upselling gentlemen,
Small means give it small
Don’t give the standard size
Don’t play cheap tricks.

Don’t ruin the brand name.

This is located in Heavenly Village and it is an overpriced, underdelivered tourist trap.

The ice cream was just ok. But it was the service and experience that truly was bothersome. There were 5 workers + a manager/supervisor behind the counter. Only 1 girl was handling the customers (both scooping and ringing up). The line had about 12 people. The others were either talking to the manager or just walking around - it was weird. So many places are greatly understaffed and patience from customers is needed; however, this was overstaffed with only 1 person actually doing the work. As we were getting rung up, the manager told the girl helping us to give the guy behind us (with 6 people in his party) some free mix-ins and the "friends discount". Nice.: - (It cost us $22 for 2 of their smallest cups.

The ice cream was excellent! The customer service, not so much. The girl working the register with the curly hair that’s colored needs to be off the register. Clearly she was frustrated when a customer was having trouble with the credit card machine. Even when I ordered she want too friendly. Time to move her to the back.

Honestly one of the worst experiences we've had.the 4 workers in line that were making our ice cream HATED their jobs.we are always so nice & ask please & say thank you, not one of then had a smile on their face or even said a word to us.they would put the ice creams in the counter after they were done & not say what kind of ice creams they were.since we didn't know what kind they were, we would grab one thinking it was ours. THEN they would finally talk but scold me & say "that's not yours". Like WHAT? ! Such extremely rude customer service, we love cold stone but these workers here at the "heavenly" village aren't very heavenly

Staff was not very nice on our vist 6/23/22 @4pm.
Very RUDE! Worst Service we have had here. Staff needs training. Ordered a smoothie and got attitude. Wanted a shake and got a love it instead they screwed up. We spent over $30 if it wasn't for convenience place would never go here again. We come here all the time. And today's staff needs work

My kids are big time nut allergy, the reason why I limit them to eat in places where nuts are being served. But with cold stone, they prepared it separately for zero contamination just mention it. Thank you so much. My kids' joy is priceless. Kudos to all of you.

Doesn't deserve to be called a cold stone outlet. They din't even mix it properly.
The extra star is just for the good ole Cold Stone taste.

One of the 3 ice creams order yesterday, had two hairs in it. A long hair and a short hair. So gross. We just threw it away. Not one hair but two! Ewwww.
