Great local pub with incredible food and is the best spot in Cole Valley for dinner with kids. They even have a soft serve window.

The best little gem you’ll find. Always hospitable, the food is good and the drinks are truly something to rave about.great for a family outing, date night, or time with friends. Shannon and all the staff are so friendly and attentive, you won’t be disappointed!

I lived in SF for 20 years, and on a recent visit back I stayed in Cole Valley. A fiend recommended I go to Cole Valley Tavern. The fist stop was just for a drink at the gorgeous bar. As I sipped the most delicious cocktail, Ladymade #5, I saw and smelled the amazing food coming out of the kitchen. I woke up the next day and went straight back to try the burger and fries that I saw the night before. They were even better than I imagined. Truly the most perfect burger and fries I have ever had! Later in the day I went back for dinner because the Mac and Cheese I saw was calling my name. Again, out-of-this-world fantastic!

Above the food being absolutely fantastic the ambiance is perfect. It’s nice but not snooty, comfortable but not overly casual- this staff is professional on on point. The vibe reminded me of everything I used to love about SF. A feeling of being home, even if it is first time you walk in the door. Everything is thoughtful and intentional and at the same time completely authentic.
Anyway, I may have to move back here. Those fries!

My boyfriend and I went here on a whim the other night. Warm & inviting atmosphere & astetically pleasing. We sat at the bar where we received superb service, creative drinks and delicious food. I got the chicken soup, he got a burger.pretty tasty and overall great experience. I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

This newly renovated & reinvented Restaurant with Full Bar in Cole Valley is Superb! It has excellent food, delicious craft cocktails, great staff, & an inviting interior. We went on a Monday for the Cod Damn Fish & Chips pop-up and were greeted with a warm welcome. Started with a couple of yummy cocktails & the Charred Broccolini Caesar Salad that was dressed perfectly and super fresh! We got the featured Fish and Chips which was a large piece of fish, real chips, and unique sauces that were a welcomed twist on the original. Finished off with the dessert special - a fruit crisp a la mode that was a perfect end to the meal. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and will make this a regular hangout to watch a game at the bar, grab a casual meal, or meet up with friends for a great dining experience!

Great food and friendly service. They derped our salad, but the mains were so good we didn't really care. The neighborhood is lucky to have this place?

Tastefully laid out with excellent cocktails and exceptional staff. This is a must-do in Cole Valley.

Great local spot for dinner, drinks, and vibes with tasty vegetarian options we keep coming back for. My favorites are the Impossible Smashburger and the fried tofu sandwich.

I had the Fritto Misto calamari, the Charred Broccolini Caesar salad and the French Onion Grilled Cheese.

Everything was so good that I can't even remember the name of the restaurant this place replaced ;)

The whole vibe just feels good there. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

Went there for dinner on Saturday with my family and they were blasting music insanely loud, impossible to have a conversation. As for food, it’s an overpriced mediocre bar food. Burger is pretty gross, mac and cheese too - even my little daughter refused to eat it. As for their $30 Cioppino - that is supposed to be a fish stew - it was ridiculous, on a plate there were just a few mussels, tiny piece of salmon, half of a potato and bunch of onions. In short, don’t go. Two thumbs down.

Had a great time here, the bartenders were so nice, the owner was there and super nice, everyone helped create a great atmosphere. Thank you for an awesome evening.

Great place with an awesome staff. Comfortable to hang out, the drinks were great, food hit the spot. Definitely coming back. And again, the staff was super great. Really enjoyed the Cole Valley Tavern.
