Cole’s sales rep did not follow up as promised so we bought carpet elsewhere. And they don’t even know who their customers are since they sent me the link to this site to review them. We talked with them last August — almost 6 months to follow up!

Maryann was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk was staffed each time I came and they acknowledged me each time. My product was available as expected and the man loading it for us was helpful and friendly.

Salesperson was not very helpful and ended up getting my order wrong. As a Designer it was a very frustrating experience and lucky for me my client was gracious about the mistake. The carpet I chose was very expensive and looks lovely in the room we put it in but doubtful that I will go back there to shop in the future.

We are totally happy with the Coles Fine Flooring team. The sales person was knowledgeable & courteous always answering questions & concerns in a timely manner. The pre-estimate visit was quick & thorough. And the installation is professional looking and beautiful & completed on schedule. I would highly recommend Coles Fine Flooring.

I placed a small order for vinyl laminate flooring by phone with Cindy at Cole's. Cindy quoted me a good price and ordered it as it was not in stock. She showed me the transition choices for my selection by e-mail and kept me informed by phone, text, and email. I felt like I was treated like a VIP even though my order was small. Even the warehouse man who loaded my car with the product was very pleasant and polite. All in all my purchase with Cole's was a pleasant experience and they exceeded my expectations.

Didn't have enough carpet with them to finish the job. Had to order more carpet, not in until over a week later. Finally after a week and half they are going to finish the job. We will see.

Ron Stewart was Wonderful from the start! He made this challenging shopping decision much more enjoyable! He was very helpful through the entire process! The install crew were wonderful too! Love our new carpet!

I inherited a condo last October in San Diego. Living in Washington state, I'm not able to get to the condo and take care of things as if I lived there. On one trip to the condo, we went to Cole's to pick out flooring and were greeted by Les. He immediately took us under his wing and never left our side through the process of total new flooring. He has been the most amazing person to work with. He's helped me long distance take care of things and I just can't say enough "good" about him and Cole's. They, especially Les, have gone way above and beyond what I could have ever hoped for. Bought a custom rug pad. Cindy the sales woman was nice. When the pad was presented to me to was very dirty. She said the technition cut it on the dirty floor. She said it could easily be cleaned at home. Not happy I asked for them to recut it. She readily agreed. It took a long time. I suspect instead of recutting it they just cleaned it. Expect more when I'm paying $50 for a mat and from Coles

For our flooring needs (carpet and hardwood flooring) my husband I have been working with Jeremy Fratt for a few years now. Jeremy is just fabulous. He is knowledgeable, professional and courteous while working with us. When someone asked me about recommendations for flooring needs - I tell them to go to Jeremy.
I have been please with Coles Fine Flooring not only because of the person (Jeremy Fratt) who helps me choose and sales me the flooring but also in the installation of the flooring. I just had my carpet installed. The installers were just wonderful. What a beautiful job they did. They were also very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

Project with Coles store at Miramar MCAS not yet completed, awaiting measurements to be taken tomorrow, therefore too early to express judgement on the whole buying experience with Coles. So far, very good in dealing with David Bailey, the store salesperson.

Coles Fine Flooring is amazing. This is the second time we have had them install all the carpet in our house. Picking out carpet for a large house can be daunting as it is such a huge investment that you have to look at every day! Maryanne was fabulous and directed us to the perfect choice for our home. She was very patient and spent a lot of time with us. She also helped us with options that would save money. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would definately recommend her to anyone purchasing flooring. Not only is she exceptionally knowledgeable she is fun to work with! Adolpho and Reese did our installation. We couldn’t have asked for more professional, conscientious installers. They did a terrific job for us and we have asked that they be the installers on the second phase of this project. Best wishes for happy carpet choosing!

Read this before choosing Coles!

The one star review is a direct result of our experience ordering the carpet and working with a specific member of their sales staff.

Upon arrival, we were instructed to look around and see what we liked. When we got connected with the sales person she made the assumption that we needed to get the cheapest option.

Here is a list of the experience that prompted this one-star review:

We overheard another salesperson say to a customer over the phone that she was in a private location and that it was safe to share their credit card information over the phone. She proceeded to repeat their card numbers aloud, including the expiration and three-digit code.

We expressed our fear in providing our credit card information in a document, but she assured us it was secure. It was likely just a coincidence, but our credit card information was stolen the next day.

There was a two thousand dollar difference between the quote and final prices.

The salesperson would not provide us with the information needed to quickly obtain any other quotes, telling us that their measurements were proprietary-a sign that they were not confident in their pricing. She also asked us to show them her quotes we got in case she could meet it. This made us suspicious that they were taking advantage of us.

When we expressed disappointment in the price she promptly started lowering it, making us question why they wouldn’t just give us the actual price the first time.

The only reason we chose to move forward with the purchase was that we were under a time crunch to repair some animal damage in our home. Otherwise we would have shopped around and chosen another vendor.

After the job was complete we were not provided with a formal invoice for the service, instead just a phone call asking for a payment.

Overall, the experience was sloppy, unprofessional, and left us feeling taken advantage of. I can only imagine this is what my parents experienced when visiting a used car lot.

On a positive note, we were very pleased with the install team. The gentlemen were professional and dig a fantastic job. The score of the review is not a reflection of their work.

Cindy was a joy to work with. She is knowledgeable, very supportive, fun, looks for ways to work up a good package for us, a real treat. She patiently helped us through several visits to help us come up with the right carpet and tile for us. We highly recommend her. We know from past experience Coles has good quality products and installation.
