Colony Cinemas Atascadero

My first time back to a movie theater since Covid entered the stage & it was so nice. The Galaxy was very clean, enforces mask wearing, & staff are very friendly. I really like being able to choose my seats, buy my tickets, popcorn, candy, etc.online in advance with one transaction, so convenient. I'm so happy this theater survived the pandemic.

The first time I've been to the movie theater in about 30 years! Very nice experience! Seats are comfy and have a spot for your drink! No more sticky spills on the floor! I was surprised by how big the theater is! Very nice!

I hate to not give this place 5 stars, everything was great besides the snack area employees. They have been so rude the last 3 times we have gone there. They act like we are inconveniencing them by even wanting food. I wanted to call and complain but I will give them another chance. Each time the workers have been quite young so I'm hoping it will be better next time. Other than that the place is awesome. Comfy chairs, you get to pick where you want to sit.

Seven days a week. We did Tuesday 125 pm matinee and were only ones there. Staff happy to see us, theaters and all clean, sanitizer machines everywhere. Felt good to be there!

Great theatre, still very quiet. There were lots of employees working and cleaning. The temperature inside was very comfortable. I think there was only about 8 of us in the show.

Manager running the register made me very uncomfortable, kept trying to upsell me when I was trying to just buy popcorn and get a couple boxes so we could share it. Then to top it off he was waiting outside the theater after the movie, which I've never seen happen at galaxy before. I don't know what he had against me but I don't appreciate it.

I'm a huge movie go-er and do to the fact I live in SM and our current theathers are closed I decided to check out this theather. Why haven't I been here before. As soon as you step in the lobby you get that typical popcorn smell at the concessions. I tried their Large bucket and man, love the taste it definetly is on par with a Regal Cinema. I love the fact that they also have their own app, makes it easier to buy and scan your ticket. Another huge plus is the Dbox seats, we don't have these locally so having them here is big win. I will defiently be going back to catch another movies soon.

Finally returned to an actual movie theatre in over a year and Im so glad it was Galaxy Theatres. They are safe and still fun, giving you the full movie experience we've all been missing.

So glad they are open again! So happy to be there! Needed help with tickets I bought online, manager was super nice and helpful. Used a gift certificate I bought last year, to help them pay their employees, to buy popcorn and beer. Enjoyed the movie immensely and can't wait to go back!

Little bit expensive! Seats are ok. You have assigned seating so if you get tickets online make sure you print your tickets or download to your phone. Sometimes they make you check it at the ticket booth. Which means you have to wait in line. I suggest going early on a popular movie!

Terrible service. Unfortunately the assistant manager Franklin was lacking in the customer service department. Very unfortunate! @
