A truly exceptional dining experience! Great food and friendly staff! I loved the outdoor, tea garden with the piano music playing!

Best little cosy spot in town for tea and sandwiches. Must try the French Onion soup and scones. Love it!

I had just lost my job of many years and my girlfriend brought me here to cheer me up and we had the most delightful time. The place is amazing we got to wear hats and feel adorable and the staff were just as pleasing as the atmosphere and food

It's extremely overpriced, only for tourists or those on vacation. The only thing I'd recommend here is the pot pie, and about 2 years ago I noticed they weren't very good to there employees which has left a permanent stain on how I view them. It is pretty though.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area.the food is so fresh and delicious.the tea and scones are amazing.and their soups are always top tier.i love the vegetarian hildreth sandwich on a croissant and the kale salad- it has an amazing lime turmeric dressing and the most wonderful textures.if you can go on a day with their lavender scones, you’re in for a treat.i would love for them to add more vegetarian options too! ️

Very quaint and cozy, this place is like stepping back in time - which is probably what you're looking for if you're visiting Columbia. The tea selection is very interesting, and the food was decent. We will visit again when in the mood for a light, slightly fancy teatime lunch that makes you feel a bit like you're in the English countryside. I would never have been interested in ordering pecan pie for dessert, but I noticed it was a PEAR pecan pie, which is totally different. It was really good, warm, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet vs savory. Don't go without trying this treat!

Located in Columbia State Historical Park, offers traditional tea and hearty traditional favorites like chicken pot pie. Great selection of unique teas, some are house blend originals. Baked goods are produced in house and super fresh.

This place is super cute! We had the tea service for two. There is so much food! I saw other people get service and their portions were also big! The Lemon Poppy seed scones were delish, the tea was great, the sandwichs were okay, and the bread was homemade. The chocolate torte was perfection! Absolutely, heaven sent. The bread pudding was awesome. The service was nice. I hope to make it back one day and have the pot pie and more of the heavenly chocolate torte.

This is a great restaurant. I took my nieces here and they loved having a tea party together. The tea, scones, sandwiches, and desserts were a huge hit. The management is very sweet and helpful.

It's a great experience. The Tea is all super good, the scones were a big hit, and the desserts were great. The sandwiches we had were fine, but they weren't as big of a hit as the other courses. But overall it was a great experience. Be warned though, if you do the Motherlode, it's gonna take a while, but that's kinda the point.

Had a lovely lunch, made even lovelier by our waitress Candy! Every menu item absolutely satisfied. The Lavender Lemonade is a must try refresher.

Really disappointing experience. We were ignored at the door for several minutes, it took over 10 to get water, and over 20 to even get our order taken. After a while longer of waiting, we realized there were several other tables in the same predicament. The strange thing was, the staff was standing in the kitchen area behind the counter socializing. No one was doing much of anything. We ended up excusing ourselves and walking out. Don’t go to this place unless you have hours to wait and don’t mind poor service.

My daughter insisted that we leave a review stating we would give 10 stars if we could! We were provided with fancy hats, the tea was delectable and the food was PHENOMENAL! Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 will visit again!

We love Kate’s! On this occasion we brought our daughter from Alabama because it is a tradition to visit Kate’s! But we come for other occasions also throughout the year! Love it here!
