Colusa County Fairgrounds

We have tried for months to get ahold of someone here to see if we can still camp overnight on our way to California. Left messages and never got a response. When we stopped here, we finally were able to read a note on the door that said they don't do camping anymore. We ended up driving 18 hours that day because no one ever tried to reach back out. We have stayed here before in the past and it was nice.

Went to a Jaripeo on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 for the first time & the very last time. The reason why is because once you’re inside, you cannot go back to the car & get a sweater for the cold weather. They expected me to pay another ticket entrance on top of what I already had paid just to get back inside. Never will I come here again. If you’re reading this review, save your money & go somewhere else. They are ripping people off.
FYI, I had to leave early because of this. I didn’t get to see my favorite group perform simply because I had to get a sweater & couldn’t go back in.

My 13 year old daughter went to a quesadilla and they were allowing under age kids to drink there my came back home under the influence of a pill and alcohol she could barely walk I tried to call fair grounds to let them know what is taking place there but no one answered there phones please if anyone knows how to get in touch with fair grounds please let them know 13 year old kids a given pills and alcohol

I thought the place was gonna be bigger and have more options to eat and drink, but it was limited to about 4 or 5 food options and 5 to 8 drink stands. Everything was expensive, but that was expected. Overall, it's not a whole lot different from other fairgrounds.

Meh. Pool was green water. No hot water in room. Clean. A/c worked. Right by I5. Inexpensive if you need to be here. Friendly staff.

This place was amazing, I was there during the fair so all the rides were there. It was amazing, you are also able to rent a spot for a party if I remember correctly. All and all a great place

Had to walk a Mile to get to the Only open entrance! Prices were ridiculously high for the Music show. Not worth that much money.
Won't be back for sure!

So fun! Small, just the way I like it! Enough food vendors to make everyone happy, beer garden, live music, a few rides and carnival games.

This is usually a great farm show to attend. The exhibits were a little lacking this year though. I always love the deals you can get from Meridian Supply at the show!

The people that work at the fairgrounds are some of the best people you could do business with the ladies in the office are great and went above and beyond in the curticy department and just good people. Bill the maintenance man is great to talk with and a good guy it's very clean and I will definitely stay there again.

Going here is fun from Live bands to live bull riding rideo. (No animals were harmed) since I dont go any of those events but it's a huge ranch park with parking also food vendors that sell misc items also to eat there are bacon wrap hotdogs to tasty tacos an more to eat. Water fruit drinks/ waters an let's not forget beer vendors for those who enjoy a cold one. (must get a wrist band for 21 an over) Must buy tickets to buy beer. You will be searched an ladies purses too to keep everyone safe upon entering gates. Plenty of secuity/ sheriff's patroling the fairgrounds to keep everyone safe too. That's a plus for my safety an all. Going to this place is close to Colusa Casino since it's where this place is at. Colusa, Ca. If love this sort of event it's a treat for everyone. Would come again.

Went to hear a group of music from Mexico! The best time ever! Enjoyed the place and was able to see the bullriding! Was excited! The place was ran and lots of food of course you buy it it was delicious food and lots of different types of drinks and foods! Excellent! ️
