Com Tam Thanh - Bascom reviews
17One of my favorite locations for tasty Vietnamese food. Super savory. Looking forward to returning with my friends. This place has a great atmosphere.
I find their food salty. Flavors are also flat. Their prices are high for the quality of food. They even dare to charge full price for a product dubbed as broken rice. That's like throw away rice salvaged and sold to uneducated customers. No referral from me for this place.
This is my go-to. The food here is awesome. The pho is great. I also like the egg roll appetizer I think it's a spring roll type of a deal. I love the seafood stirfry noodles. This is also a good spot if your a vegetarian. The service is friendly and parking is ample. There is actually two parking lots one small one and one large one on the other side. For years I didnt know the bigger parking lot existed if your coming south on bascom you'll see the little one first.
Was just here for lunch, stopped by for the first time for a quick bowl of pho. Got the regular beef bowl pho, and the broth was really quite good. The speed left something to be desired and we had to ask for small dishes and spoons. However it was lunch hour and very busy, so it didn't matter.
We love this place! The pork broken rice plates are so good. Our go-to favorite is number 27 with sliced pork. We also enjoy the pho. I wish they had dairy-free bubble tea options, though.
A preferred site for vietnamese food.one of the best spots of its kind in the area.service treated us so kindly.this place has a cool feel to it.ambience reminds me of colorado springs area.
This is my go to pho stop. It never disappoints. Very good variety. They have boba and thai teas. Very spacious inside but can benefit from additional parking
Terrible rude staff. None of the things we ordered were upto standard or as desired. Look someplace else if you wish to get the food you ordered. How can you screw up Pad Thai? I wish half a star was an option.
Was really disappointed. Heard so many raves. The Pho Wagon on Meridian is so much better. This place uses to much MSG.
It wasn't bad, but wasn't very good and the service was kinda bad. I asked for a refill on my water 3 times and never got it
Service is great and the food was delicious. I am looking forward to going back soon and trying something different. So many delicious dishes it is hard to choose. Family friendly, a menu with bsmaller portions for the kids.
All host smile and make everyone feel welcomed best food on Bascom Ave and the coffee will make you move in the direction you need to be. I love this place
This restaurant is on a section of Bascom Avenue with many vacancies. The restaurant is in a building that looks older, but the dining room is clean and spacious. The menu is quite extensive. The food came quickly. My pho with rare steak came with a generous amount of beef and the broth was good, not too sweet. My wife's combination rice plate with pork chop, egg cake and other meats was good, but the pork chop was very chewy. My son enjoyed his noodle soup with seafood and snails, except the snails were extremely chewy. We will come again to try other items on the menu.
Good pho, fast service and good customer service. Noodles were cooked well and the broth is pretty decent not filled completely with msg.meat was a little well done despite ordering rare.overall I'd recommend this place it's pretty decent
I used to be regular customer after this. The waitress was very rude, in a hurry to get our order. Worst experience ever. Will not come back.
I enjoy savory and salty to an extent, but the Pho here was so unbelievably SALTY, I couldn't eat more than a few bites. The spring rolls were decent. The service is very disorganized and we had to remind them to bring different parts of our order they forgot. My wife who is Vietnamese, from Vietnam, didn't have much positive to say about our experience.
