I came in and they sat me at the door when theres other spot available. As my right a customer i went to look if other places are fittting for me to sit because i have bad allergies and i dont want to sit by the door. The owner Said in Vietnamese under her breath How I Should Have Sat Down Where She Sat Me Down In A Rude Manner. I Have Been Going Here Since 2009 You can bet that all of my friends and family will not be disrespected for our hard earned money. I dont care how good the food is, its the respect NOT TO DISRESPECTED YOUR CUSTOMERS IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE EVEN IF YOUR THE OWNER. CHECK YOURSELF.

My mom loves com tam and after trying out so many places in OC, this is the place to go. They make mainly com tam and with an exception of pho and bun.

We got #5 broken rice with shredded pork skin, egg cake, and bbq pork and added a fried egg. Their egg cake is fresh not dry. The bbq pork is so flavorful, tender and moist. Their shredded pork skin is not the best because it’s too much skin to meat ratio.

Got #46 rice vermicelli with bbq pork and egg roll. How you judge this dish is by the meat and the bbq pork is super moist and flavorful.

We’ve ordered here numerous times and their bbq pork does not disappoint. There’s every combo you can think of.

There’s parking but it’s a bit sketchy with the homeless population becoming violent to each other so be careful!

Food was great, but the service was the rudiest. My wife and I were talking to each other about our order after we placed it. The order taker jumps and says, "I already repeated your order. " It's never wrong. We said, "No, the order is fine, " and she keeps talking and starts saying she's never wrong to her co-worker behind her. And starts saying other rude things in vietnamese.

Not Recommend. Restaurant owner talked loud voice to customers on waiting list at the first day of Lunar New Year. After customers was sit down inside, she was screaming at her host, pointing finger to customers’ table. They entered without enough people make order waiting outside. Beef balls were not cook because of 50% frozen. Beef noodle soup is salty.

Love the comtam here with the nem nuong with sugar cane inside. We got the combination with chicken and with grilled pork - very yummy

This is my favorite place for com tam. The meat is well marinated and the rice with fish is right on. There is usually a wait for dine in but I order in advance when I take it to go.

Horrible experience. The staff accidentally dumped a bucket of water on me and all I get was “oh, sorry”. No apology from manager. The discount was a slap in the face. I left the restaurant looked like I just peed on my pants. Would never come back after being treated like that

Good food. Fast service. But you need to pay attention what you are order.
My plate come with missing 1 item on it so I have to notify them and wait for second batch.

Got there when I’m carving of “com tam “ Ordered #44 … was so delicious till I’m full (big plate, cannot finished all). Then I were felling little dizzy, dried throat & mouth.its meant too much MSG. Will not go back. Sorry, I love it but I cannot handle the high in MSG.

This place used to run pretty well. However with the present of this lady, who seems to be a new boss/owner, things are now a bit more chaotic.

I hope she doesn't ruin the vibe of this place.

It is a small place with just about the same decor and service you'd expect of the multitude of Vietnamese family owned eateries in the area. I highly recommend choosing the "thịt nướng" over the "sườn nướng". The thịt nướng is perfectly cooked and well marinated and the result is juicy and tender. The "sườn nướng" in contrast, although flavorful, is very dry and tough. If you avoid the sườn nướng, I would say it's one of my favorite "cơm tấm" places to eat in the area.

This morning 7/17/2022 was a frustrating day when I brought friends from San Francisco to eat but was disappointed in the service of the staff, and the food was too bad. I will never refer anyone to this place.

Sáng nay 7/17/2022 là một ngày bực bội khi nghe bạn giới thiệu nên đã dẫn bạn bè từ San Francisco xuống ăn nhưng thật vọng từ cách phục vụ của nhân viên và đồ ăn quá tệ. Mình sẽ không bao giờ giới thiệu bất cứ ai đến nơi này.

Tôi là khách hàng của tiệm từ lúc mở tiệm tới bây giờ. Tôi thật sock với thái độ phục vụ với khách hàng ngày hôm nay. Tôi gọi điện thọai order togo và nói kỹ instruction nhưng khi tới thì không đúng ý tôi. Tôi lịch sự yêu cầu đổi cho tôi, tôi chưa hề đụng vào đồ ăn hay chạm tay vào đồ ăn. Khi tôi muốn gặp quản lí hoặc chủ quán. Người cashier tên Phú, cao tầm 1m7, ốm mặc áo thun xanh (tự xưng là chủ quán) nói với tôi thái độ bất lịch sự. " Bây giờ tiệm bán vậy, không lấy đúng ko? Vậy trả tiền lại. Anh ta tự động cất đồ ăn vô và trả tiền lại cho tôi với thái độ bố thí tiền lại cho tôi, không cần bán" Oh woaaa, một thái độ không cần khách hàng. Tôi đã là khách hàng của bạn từ lúc mở tiệm và bây giờ trở đi tôi sẽ không bao giờ quay lại quán của bạn và tất cả những người trong gia đình tôi. Giá đồ ăn của quán cao hơn những quán khác và nhận lại một thái độ không cần khách.

My family and I have been customers with Thien Hao since they opened, but today it was such a shock to me with one of the employee’s attitudes toward their customer. I called in for a pick up order and left specific instructions. Yet, when I arrived, they prepared my order wrong, so I asked the cashier to change it for me. The cashier named Phu gave me an attitude and said” That's what we served, deal with it”. I asked to speak to the manager or the owner, and he claimed he is the owner’s son. He proceeded to take the food back with a rude attitude. If your employees don't need customers for the restaurant, then we’ll never return here. Your restaurant is already over prices, almost $50 for 2 entrees, and your services are like you don't need customers.

We were ordered 41,42,43 and 44. Portions are big, however the tastes so bad. We asked for pepper, they gave us 3 peppers with bites mark on them. Coffee was bad as well. Beware of 15% tips was added to the bill without let us know at beginning. Wouldn't recommended for this restaurant.

Foods is good, a bit pricey compare to round cơm tấm restaurant but it worthed. A bit uncomfortable is the place is too small and have to waited too long if you go with the group bigger than 6.
