Comfort Inn By the Bay reviews
13Great location 25 minute walk to Pier33 and 39, on the Hop on off route with a stop 1 block away, underground parking $30.00 well worth the price we will recommend to friends and family and stay when we return you can't go wrong here
Had a nice view of the Golden Gate Bridge from the room I stayed it. Beds were pretty comfy. Same cannot be said about the foldable bed though which was all sorts of flimsy.
This hotel was very nice, clean, and had a great view. Only complaint is no microwave but nothing a little hot water won’t fix. Plus all the staff at this hotel were the nicest people I’ve ever met, thanks for talking to my toddler, and the woman who works in the kitchen for picking up her pacifier and bringing a cup of water so I could rinse it off. Truly above and beyond staff
There is a lot to walk around and see from the hotel itself and the view we had of the golden gate Bridge was good too. A microwave would have made the room convenient, and we didn't have housekeeping for the trip but was for a brief trip.
Love the room style but bit old. Room comes with iron, iron board, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, safe, TV, independent A/C. Wifi throughout the building. Parking available. Breakfast included (waffle, juices, cereals, coffees, teas, sausages and scramble eggs, toast, muffins).
Staff is friendly but you have to ask for room keeping as they would not come every day to clean.
Staff was very helpful. Room was nice. Parking way too expensive. Crime really bad in the area.
Honestly the only two positive things I can mention are that the staff was nice and that it’s super close to Fishermen’s Wharf. Apart from that, it’s a terrible place to stay at. Our room had a great view, however, the window and the curtain was moldy which made the whole room smell. Furthermore, the AC did not work (and there were no controls for it anywhere). Definitely not worth $330+ per night. Make sure to spend slightly more and head to another hotel instead.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It's in a great location to do some tourist things, with the option for a view of the bay and Golden gate. Super easy to walk to good food restaurants as well as grabbing public transport around the city.
Staff was very quick to accommodate a change in room because it smelled of smoke from a previous occupant. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Parking garage is under the hotel, reasonable price with unlimited in and out privileges.
Breakfast was pretty good with decent choices.
Only downside is rooms did not have fridges and microwaves.
We came here for our honeymoon and this hotel was awful to work with. We stayed there for four nights and five days and they wouldn’t clean our room due to covid and “short staff”. We had to get new room keys three times due to them not working. I would not recommend staying here.
Aside from the location this hotel has little else to offer. There were dirty towels in the hallway and dirty coffee cups as well. The rooms were outdated and there were stains on the rugs and curtains, sink was cracked, AC was barely working, the bed/pillows were very uncomfortable, and the rooms were incredibly loud. This hotel definitely way over priced for how the hotel (wasn’t) kept up.
The staff went above and beyond when I accidentally left my necklace behind. Truly lovely people and a great hotel.
Waiting over a half hour to check in. Had reservations and after a 9 hour drive, didn't need the delay
Coffee and breakfast is great. Staff is depends. One time they almost lost my parcel, but I lived there. Rooms are small, but enough to stay for 3-5 days maximum. Amenities not modern one, but works. Can't say that it's bad place, but at the summer IMO it seems overpriced. Locations is awesome btw.
